For any NFL team, the quarterback position is the most prized and teams tend to focus a lot on it. It is true that Kirk Cousins has played one more game than Joe Burrow this season. But still the veteran has been statistically more impressive. Even in fantasy points, Cousins is ahead with an average of 19.3 fantasy points per game while Burrow is stuck at 12.1.
There has also been a comparison by NFL analyst and pundit Pat McAfee between the playoff stats of the two players. Kirk Cousins features 1.75 Pass TDs per game along with .5 turnovers and 96.5 passer rating. Burrow has 1.4 Pass TDs per game along with .6 turnovers per game and 93.8 passer rating.
