Jordan Mailata feels NFL requires more agility than Rugby
Jordan Mailata has successfully made the change to the NFL from Rugby. However it’s insightful to know from the man how he made it possible. Mailata speaking on the subject said that Rugby is more emphasized on physical dominance. He has been a force to reckon with ever since he has stepped up in the NFL and has also been given the nickname of “human wrecking ball”.
On the other hand NFL players need to be physically strong as well as be agile. In Rugby, energy conservation is vital as the players are hit a lot of times. But Mailata did add the point that he feels the safety in the NFL is mugh higher when compared to Rugby.

“I don’t think you are wrong. I think a lot of players from Rugby have made a successful transition. It is a tough sport. NFL players do play Rugby, which is a lot about endurance and technique. A lot of players do get confused when it comes to differences. It is a tough sport, and you do need to conserve your energy. Rugby is all about hits, and it’s all about running through everybody,” Jordan Mailata said on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce.
Recently Jordan Mailata, Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles have recorded a cover of “All I Want for Christmas Is You“. The song has been originally sung by Mariah Carey and will be included on “A Philly Special Christmas Special.” Last year the trio sang cover versions of “White Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
