Tennis is a grueling sport, with the players toiling hard under the unforgiving sun. Unfortunately, this leaves many with tans they cannot get rid of. Stefanos Tsitsipas can attest to it, but fans are surprised at how bad it looks in Mexico.
The Greek player is currently competing at Los Cabos as the defending champion. He has hit a slump in his form and even bowed out of the top ten rankings for the first time in five years. Every player hits a rough patch in their career, and Stefanos is going through his at present. However, he is sure to make a strong comeback soon, which is why every match counts.
With his back against the wall, Stefanos has been working hard at the tournament in Mexico. Unfortunately, the sun has not been very kind to the Greek star. Tsitsipas’ tan looks somehow more prominent after his two matches in Los Cabos.

Fans took to social media to despair at Stefanos’ tan, wondering how he looked so tanned already. One fan even brought up Jannik Sinner’s sunscreen ad.
Sinner forged a long-term partnership with La Poche Posay in February of this year. The user took the humorous route, stating that “clearly Jannik’s La Roche Posay sunscreen ads did not appeal to this man.”

Regardless of the tan, Stefanos Tsitsipas will hope to successfully defend his title in Mexico this year. He booked a spot in the semifinals and will take on Casper Ruud in the highly anticipated clash.
Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Casper Ruud Los Cabos semifinals
The defending champion will take on the two-time Grand Slam finalist, Ruud. Tsitsipas received a bye in the first round of the event, and he played well to make it to the last four.
Stefanos thrashed Aleksandar Vukic in his first match, as he defeated him 6-3, 6-0. He then took on Aleksandar Kovacevic in the quarterfinals. Kovacevic got off to a flying start against Tsitsipas, as he led 3-0 before Tsitsipas staged a comeback. He pushed the first set into a decider and then dominated the tiebreak, eventually winning the match 7-6 (1), 6-3.
Ruud also got a first-round bye. He defeated Marcos Giron and Nuno Borges to book his place in the semifinals. Both players will hope to outperform the other when they lock horns next.
So far, they have played each other only twice, with the head-to-head split equally between them. Stefanos Tsitsipas is a man on a mission, with an eye on reentering the top ten once again.
