SUMMARY
- Several A-List celebrities like Jack Harlow, Joey McIntyre, Mercedes Moné, and Michael Rubin were at the TD Garden for Game 5.
- NBA and Celtics alumni were present during the elimination game.
History has been made and the Boston Celtics are champions once again. The Cs were inevitably going to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy after taking an early 3-0 lead. The Dallas Mavericks somehow pulled off a statement win in Game 4 to show that they’re still a threat the Celtics might meet in the finals someday.
Game 5 featured a ton of celebrities, some of them who are hardcore Celtics fans. Award-winning rapper Jack Harlow was in attendance along with other music or entertainment stars such as Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Maria Menounos, Michael Bivins, Camille Kostek, famously known as Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend, and Millyz.

NFL stars Brad Marchand, Matt Grzelcyk, Jim Montgomery of the Bruins, and Drake Maye as well as Ja’Whaun Bentley of the Patriots were at the TD Garden. AEW Wrestling’s Mercedes Moné and Fanatics’ CEO/Founder Michael Rubin also visited Game 5.
Multiple NBA and Celtics alumni were present at the game
Obviously, a guest list wouldn’t have been complete without NBA legends and Celtics alumni. Once again, Jeannine Russell (Bill Russell’s wife) and her daughter Karen were present at the Garden. Adam Silver and NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum were there to honor the Celtics with their 18th championship.

2x NBA Champion ML Carr was present alongside Mal Graham, Kevin Stacom, Jerry Sichting, Eddie House, Dana Barros, and Leon Powe. Tacko Fall was also in attendance at Game 5 along with Grant Williams and Jason Terry. Long-time Celtics rival, Udonis Haslem also blessed the TD Garden with his presence.
Game 5 of the Celtics vs Mavericks series holds a special place in history
It was only right for the Celtics to return to the Garden to celebrate their 18th championship win with their fans. Boston has broken a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for the most NBA championships won by an organization. LA currently has 17 while the Celtics now boast 18.

The date of June 17 marks 16 years since the Celtics last held the Larry O’Brien. Boston was led by Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce back then. Game 5 was an extraordinary night for the current Celtics team, who is expected to win multiple titles together soon.
