Roman Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, but he’s still one of the most talked-about names in the industry. Such is the influence of the legendary Anoa’i family on the wrestling world, that despite the absence of a megastar like Roman, a lot of guys from the family are working in the ring consistently to maintain their legacy.
While people like Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa, have been performing in the Triple H-led promotion, one member of this great family is in no hurry to join the organization. The pro wrestler in question is Umaga’s son and Reigns’ cousin, Zilla Fatu, and he is not desperate to make his WWE debut.
The Main One talked about his plans of making it to the promotion in a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm and shared some important details about his goals. During the conversation, he said, “I’m not in no rush to get signed or I’m not in no rush to get anywhere I’m just trusting the process uh and just learning from my coaches and just believing in me and my team but yeah I’m excited and stay tuned.”
In addition to this, Zilla also talked about how it makes perfect sense for him to be in the company, as he could be an important part of The Bloodline saga. But, as it’s been just about a year since he started his in-ring career as a professional wrestler, there’s still probably a lot of time, and he’s probably going to make it to the Stamford-based promotion sooner or later.
Zilla Fatu could be paired up with Jacob Fatu whenever he joins WWE
Umaga’s son stated that he’s currently in no hurry to join the Triple H-led promotion, but fans have been wondering what he would be up to whenever he joined. In this regard, a likely possibility is that Zilla Fatu could be paired up with Jacob Fatu if and when he joins WWE.
Even though Jacob hasn’t yet made his debut for the Stamford-based promotion, there have been reports that he has signed with the company. Moreover, the sources have revealed that the organization has huge plans for him in the ongoing saga of The Bloodline. If that’s the case, he could be the guy Zilla ends up getting associated with whenever he signs with the promotion.
A big reason why this could be the direction for The Main One is their history together, as they’ve spent a lot of time together as a tag team. Additionally, they also belong to the same family, and these are enough reasons why WWE could be putting these two together once Zilla Fatu joins the Triple H-led organization.
Zilla Fatu acknowledges Roman Reigns as the true leader of The Bloodline
The WWE Universe has been creating different scenarios about Zilla’s future debut in the company. But another thing that has grabbed their attention from the youngster’s recent interview is his comments about Roman Reigns, as he acknowledged The Tribal Chief as the true leader of The Bloodline.
When talking about the whole storyline involving his family, the host suddenly asked him, “You’re acknowledging him(Roman)?,” and Umaga’s son had an interesting answer to this question. The Main One said, “I just say this, whoever on top of that table that that’s who running it and right now is Roman.” Countering this response, the host asked him if it meant Solo Sikoa wasn’t running the faction.
After this, Fatu stated that he was doing it only on SmackDown. With such interesting answers, Zilla’s fun also came in front of the audience, as they got to know him a bit more. With the future looking bright for this second-generation superstar, it remains to be seen what lies ahead in his in-ring career in the professional wrestling world.
