SUMMARY
- Angela Lee's brother Adrian Lee is all set to make his ONE Championship debut.
- Ahead of his bout at ONE 167, Lee opens up about his ambitions.
In many ways, Adrian Lee was born to fight, and at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga on Prime Video, he plans to show it to the world. The 18-year-old phenom makes his professional MMA debut at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 7 when he faces Antonio Mammarella in a lightweight MMA bout.
The Hawaiian is the younger brother of retired former ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion Angela Lee and current two-division ONE MMA World Champion Christian Lee. Lee has been training for this moment from an early age, but it was only recently when he began to believe in his ability to follow in their footsteps.
“I’ve been on the mats ever since I learned how to walk. I think I started training around 3 years old,” he said.

“I always had a lot of fun training in MMA. However, I found that I had a true passion for it once I started competing… I had a steady and gradual increase in my skills throughout the years, but once I started focusing on MMA and decided that this is something I wanted to pursue, that was when my skills were able to vastly jump. At around 13 years old, when I won Worlds was when I found out that I could really do this.”
Now that his first test on a global platform is locked in, we’ll soon find out if he is destined for greatness.
Adrian Lee has big goals, starting with Antonio Mammarella
Adrian Lee has major plans for his professional mixed martial arts career, which begins at ONE 167 against Antionio Mammarella. Speaking to ONE Championship, he outlined his future.
“Right now, the only thing on my mind is beating Antonio Mammarella. However, after that, I plan on becoming the lightweight champ and possibly two-division champ,” he said.

“Of course, all the competition that I’ve had previous to this will help me handle the pressure. But I just believe in my training and, when the time comes, I’ll be ready for it.”
Lee signed a deal with ONE earlier this year after a decorated career as an amateur. The Prodigy Training Center representative won several tournaments in various fighting styles before turning professional.
