The WWE superstar was very worried as to how his wife would react to him coming out, but the revelation was quite smooth. “Sweetheart, if I can’t live the rest of my life as a woman, I don’t want to live anymore,” confessed Gabbi to Nick Hausman on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast.
Contrary to Tuft’s assumption, Priscilla turned out to be very understanding. Gabbi recalled her telling, “Baby, I know. It’s okay. I love you. Things are going to change, but we’ll figure it out.” Not only Priscilla, but her daughter Mia went ahead to extend her support. “Daddy, I will never make fun of you,” said Mia. This gave a big confidence boost to the former WWE star.
The years before coming out were very challenging for Gabbi Tuft. The pain and stress exceeded her tolerance levels and she was very close to taking her life. However, she stood tall in front of all the problems and here she is – “Unashamed, unabashedly me,” as she calls herself, inspiring thousands of people across the globe.
