Manchester United are heading into a new era in their long and illustrious history. A change in ownership of the club with Sir Jim Ratcliffe taking over as the co-owner has brought a sense of hope and enthusiasm to the club’s fanbase to see their beloved team reach back the heights and accomplishments that Manchester United has always been associated with.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe was asked if he has confidence in Ten Hag.
“The environment for the previous managers hasn’t been a successful one, and Erik is working in that same environment. Our focus is changing the environment & structure.”

On the back of a disappointing season both domestically and in Europe, a huge summer overhaul in the transfer market is not ruled out. Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on numerous world-class players in different positions to strengthen the squad. For that to happen, though, departures would also be a common occurrence in the coming months at Manchester United.
According to rumors, the club is willing to let go of even the better-performing players to generate funds to present a different Manchester United for the next season.
Bruno Fernandes has been a major pillar for United since his arrival
Bruno Fernandes arrived at Manchester United in the winter transfer window of 2020 from Sporting Lisbon. A lot has changed at Old Trafford since then, but the Portuguese has managed to be a consistent performer for the club. With his future in doubt, Fernandes has made his intentions clear, “I love to step out at Old Trafford more than anything in the world. I don’t want to leave. This has always been my ultimate dream”. The 29-year-old further admitted to having a poor 2023/24 season and took full responsibility for his displays.
Bruno Fernandes: “I will never forget where I was when I was given the opportunity to come here four years ago. I was standing in the closet in our bedroom in Lisbon. My agent had rang me up around 10 o’clock at night, and my daughter was only three years old at the time, so that… pic.twitter.com/fjx5JN2keK

Fernandes has been at United for more than four years now. During this time, he has appeared in 232 matches, scoring 79 goals and assisting a further 65. Although the trophy cabinet has been a major disappointment for him at the Mancunian club, his performances have been one of the few positives for the Red Devils in recent seasons. Along with his brilliance with the ball at his feet, his never-give-up mentality has been widely appreciated by the fanbase of Manchester United.
Bruno has one appeal to Manchester United fans ahead of the FA Cup final
United fans have endured a tough time supporting their club this season. Inconsistent results and displays have not allowed the fanbase to believe in achieving any piece of silverware. Off-the-pitch issues regarding the takeover, dressing room relationships, and more have not helped the situation any better. Despite that, with one game left to play in the campaign, United are just a final away from lifting the coveted FA Cup trophy.

With the club facing city rivals, Manchester City, a majority of the club’s followers are not optimistic about their chances in the grand fixture. Bruno Fernandes has urged the United fans to get behind the players for one last time this campaign.
He was apologetic to the supporters about the lack of inspiring moments from the squad and delivered a promise to set it right from the next season. Nevertheless, Manchester United needs their ever-enthusiastic fanbase to get their ambitions up in the hope that it reflects on United’s performance in the FA Cup final.
