The Gorilla must win his fight at UFC 282
Till entered the UFC with lots of hype behind him. He performed extremely well in his first few fights. He scored an amazing win over Donald Cerrone, which put him in the spotlight. A close but important win over Wonderboy Thompson got him the title shot against then-champion Tyron Woodley. But his hype train was stopped in its tracks after Woodley submitted him in round two. Since then, Till has never looked the same in his performances. He faced a brutal knockout loss at the hands of Jorge Masvidal.

He then won a decision against Kelvin Gastelum but went on to lose two more fights against Robert Whittaker and Derek Brunson. Till has also missed weights on many occasions and has struggled during weight cuts. He also suffered a few injuries in the last couple of years, which halted his career for a while.
Now at UFC 282, Till will look to get back to the win column. He faces rising prospect Dricus du Plessis. This fight will be an important one for Till, considering his record. He is 1-4 in his last five fights in the promotion. If he fails to secure a win in his next fight, he might be on the verge of getting cut from the promotion.
