Vince McMahon has undoubtedly been one of the biggest contributors to the success of WWE. From starting his career in small roles to becoming the biggest stakeholder in the promotion, Mr. McMahon achieved everything one dreams of in his professional wrestling journey. But, things took a massive turn when Vince sold the company to the TKO Group.
Even though Vincent initially held a respectable position in the group, the Janel Grant lawsuit forced him to resign, as it witnessed the end of his legendary association with the Stamford-based promotion. And, now, a major revelation about Vince McMahon’s current relationship with TKO has been made by longtime (former) WWE employee, Tom Carlucci.
The veteran shared it during a recent appearance on The Insiders Pod, as he talked about TKO Group’s strict measures to keep Vince away from the organization. Carlucci revealed how the former CEO is now not allowed to enter WWE Headquarters, or the gym inside it, which was created for Mr.McMahon anymore. He said, “The gym was created for Vince. He designed the gym with his trainer Mike. He can’t even go in that gym anymore.”

“He can’t step foot anywhere. Every meeting that goes on over there, you’ll never see Vince here again, from the TKO people. It’s crazy when you think about it that he’s the legacy,” Tom added. Looking at these comments from the veteran employee, it’s safe to say that Vince’s time in the company has probably come to an end, and he’s most likely to be kept away from everything related to WWE in the future too.
Wrestling community blames Vince McMahon for this unbelievable downfall
As soon as Tom Carlucci’s comments about Vince made their way to social media, the WWE Universe started sharing its reactions to his remarks. Most of the wrestling community blamed Vince McMahon for this unbelievable downfall, and one of them said, “Its his own fault for selling it to tko instead of Hhh stephanie and shane.” (Via: X)
Pointing out how it is a result of the kind of things Kennedy did in his past, an audience member wrote, “Crazy how karma works.” “Blud ruined his beautiful legacy by himself,” another pro wrestling enthusiast commented. “Good riddance! ✌🏽 it’s a better environment without him,” someone from the fanbase said while sharing how the company is probably in a better state without the presence of its former CEO.
WWE has made several attempts at erasing Vince McMahon from its history
While the revelation of the prohibition on Vince’s entry in the WWE Headquarters has come out as a surprise for many, this isn’t the first such thing to happen with the former CEO. In fact, ever since Janel Grant’s s*x trafficking allegations against Mr. McMahon, such things have come to the limelight on a number of occasions, and it showcases how TKO wants to erase Vince McMahon from the company’s history.
At first, it was reported that the promotion had banned using Vincent’s name on TV, and it was visible during a segment between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. During their interaction, Punk teased Drew to take Kennedy’s name, but McIntyre didn’t, and it showed that superstars have probably been instructed not to mention the 78-year-old’s name.

Later, Vince McMahon also sold all his TKO stocks, hinting at the end of his association with the company. In addition to this, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon officially announcing the start of the Paul Levesque Era at WrestleMania was a clear statement that WWE has moved on from Mr. McMahon. Also, if we look at the recent success of the promotion, things have been going pretty well for them in this brand new era under The Game.
