In May 2022, ‘The Savage’ posted a picture of her and her rumored boyfriend with the latter placing a heartwarming kiss on her cheeks. The caption reads – “When ya know ❤️” The said post has since garnered mixed reactions, with many of her fans making comments like “Heartbroken” and “Unfollowed.”

Gillian’s alleged boyfriend goes by the name of ‘Sean,’ based on the comments made by their close ones. Up until now, Robertson has made about 10 posts dedicated to Sean. Gillian Robertson (12-7 MMA, 9-5 UFC) made her UFC debut in December 2017 on the TUF 26 finale against Emily Whitmire. She went on earn style points after submitting Emily via a sleek armbar in the very first round. Very few might have known that she’d go on to hold the record for most submission wins in women’s UFC history.
Aside from that, ‘The Savage’ also holds the most finishes in the flyweight division in the company. However, none of the losses appeared to affect the Canadian much as she’d quickly bounce back to secure impressive yet scary-looking finishes over her adversaries. In April of this year, Gillian locked horns with Piera Rodriguez at a UFC Fight Night headlined by Max Holloway and Arnold Allen. Robertson earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus after submitting Piera via her signature armbar in round 2.
Aside from her UFC career, Gillian has also competed for Submission Underground and various other grappling promotions. Her most recent victory on the mats came against Rose Namajunas after she choked out the former UFC strawweight champion at Fury Pro 6.
