The Italian Grand Prix was a great spectacle in F1 and a breath of fresh air as Carlos Sainz stole the show by qualifying with the pole position despite the invincible dominance that Max Verstappen and Red Bull held. However, Verstappen wasn’t far away as he took the much-desired second spot. However, the recent surge of promise shown by the McLaren team wasn’t in effect as Lando Norris landed at the P9 spot while rookie teammate Oscar Piastri took P7.
However, there was a rather strange incident that happened on that day during the qualifying session. Someone shared a video among the spectators seated right above the McLaren garage alongside their father who almost caused a mishap. The parent had accidentally dropped their phone almost on Norris’ head at his pitstop during the ongoing race. The episode, nevertheless, did not hamper the working of the team.

There were no reports of the certain individual receiving a penalty for the mistake which had a slight chance of causing an impact on the race or Lando. Regardless, the British driver was outperformed by his teammate despite sharing the same MCL60 car which is believed to be unfit for the high-speed Monza setup.
