Charles Leclerc becomes the target of yet another joke after his failed Ferrari strategy at Zandvoort. It’s no secret that Ferrari has doomed their drivers with their poor strategies. However, it has become so known that the Ferrari drivers can’t catch a break even away from their team. That is what happened during one of the appearances that Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc made. The two Formula 1 drivers made an appearance on the YouTube channel SQUEEZIE.
The video had the two drivers and the host guess who the imposter among three people from different career fields are. Each career field had three people come in and talk about their work, however, one was a friend of one of the drivers that they set up. They then have to confuse the other two by guessing the imposter. Between the game, Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc talked about how they would guess the imposter next. That is when Charles gets asked if he has a strategy by the host.

Charles Leclerc said, “Yes I have a strategy.” To which Pierre Gasly hilariously added, “You and strategies?” The Ferrari driver was left speechless as the host and the Alpine driver laughed at his misery. With the bad luck that Ferrari and its drivers have faced this season, people have started clowning the team.
Can Ferrari improve their strategy to help Charles Leclerc?
And while the entire sport teams up to troll Ferrari and their strategies, the red team finds more ways to mess up. Ferrari once was a winning team. With legends like Michael Schumacher who brought the car to victory year after year. However, the team has now gone into shambles. From winning in 2022 to drastically failing to perform, the team has only been good enough for a few podium wins. Charles Leclerc has been the only driver to bring the team podiums. However, Carlos has shown consistently good results.
With that being said, will Ferrari stop sabotaging their drivers? The answer seems uncertain. Considering the recent fiasco at Zandvoort, the team has a lot more to progress from. The team saw tires that weren’t ready. And while some blamed the team, some blamed the driver for his last-minute decision. Nonetheless, Leclerc would go on to retire from the race after technical issues. However, the team has also shown some pace after their upgrades. After failing to perform well, huge upgrades were introduced.

Although those helped them recover and gain a few podiums, it set them back in the long run. Comparatively, the number of podiums is lesser than their DNFs and poor performance combined. The same was true for the Aston Martin team, who had a strong start after upgrades but soon were left behind. With the “Red Bull-inspired” upgrades working only short term, Ferrari has also failed in their strategies.
As of 2023, no other team has beaten the Bulls who have won all the races so far. This leaves the teams to try their luck against the Bulls only next season. Will Ferrari finally figure out their strategy by then? And will they have finally figured out the problem with their car?
