At the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, Elon Musk, the famed magnate behind SpaceX, Tesla, and X (Twitter), among other projects, made an eye-catching entrance. Musk has been to Grand Prix races before, but this time around, his appearance in the paddock attracted a lot of attention. It’s interesting to note that the Austin track was close to Musk’s domain given that Tesla’s headquarters was in the city.
In keeping with his imaginative spirit, Musk seized pleasure in the chance provided to promote his next launch, the Tesla Cybertruck, even before he was granted entry into the Circuit of the Americas’ Paddock Club. However, the uncertainty surrounding the Cybertruck specifications intensified the buzz about sightings like the one during the Austin Grand Prix.
What is the price tag on Musk’s Cyberbeast?
The powerful “Cyberbeast,” with its potent 845-horsepower tri-motor engine, is the Cybertruck’s standout feature. With a sub-11-second quarter-mile pace, this monster can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in an amazing 2.6 seconds. With an estimated 320-mile range, the Cyberbeast is a solid travel companion.
NEW footage of Elon at the F1 race today in Austin, TX. Cybertruck looking super clean and mean. We call this free advertising. I still think Tesla needs to set up CT tailgate parties for NFL and big NCAA games. Thoughts?

Despite a curb weight of 6843 pounds, this sturdy car can pull 11,000 pounds and hold 2500 pounds. The amalgamation of these features makes the Cyberbeast a versatile and potent member of the Cybertruck club. At $99,990, the Cyberbeast is the most expensive vehicle in the Cybertruck lineup.
Elon Musk revealed his F1 plans to Christian Horner
During the Miami Grand Prix that took place sometime around May this year, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner greeted the notable businessman into the garage. Interestingly, throughout the race weekend, Musk engaged in multiple discussions with the British team head. Musk went so far as to offer his electric car in a friendly race challenge against the current world champions.
According to Horner, “Well, it was great to see him coming to a Formula 1 race and embracing the combustion engine again. I think he was very impressed with the technology. Well, he’s a partner with Larry Ellison from Oracle, who is our title partner, and it’s always great to meet people like that. They’re so involved in the tech and so forward thinking as well.”

He went on to add, “Formula 1 has a big regulation change in 2026 where the battery becomes ever more pertinent, and so it would obviously be great to attract talent like that to come and invest in Formula 1.” However, Musk was not the only billionaire present in the paddock. Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos was also sighted on the McLaren pit wall in Miami.
Although the sport has diversified significantly since Liberty Media purchased it, Musk and Bezos are two of the few people who may consider the prospect of acquiring the entire racing industry if they choose to.
