Charles Leclerc was unsatisfied after winning only a P2 however, the Monegasque missed no opportunity to take not just his but also Sergio Perez’s “champagne” revenge on Max Verstappen. As the Las Vegas GP came to an interesting end with Leclerc fighting for the runner-up position and giving fans an impressive F1 race, the Ferrari star had another trick up his sleeve.
He might have been fast on the tracks but so were his wits on the podium celebrations. There was no surprise that the Las Vegas podium and the race took one of the most interesting and heartbreaking turns this season.
With the track not being prepared, Carlos Sainz having to take the blame for it in the most unfair punishment possible and Lando Norris shaking after a crazy crash during the race, all seemed to go wrong this weekend.
Meanwhile, Verstappen spent his weekend defending the Spaniard and hating the weekend while also apologizing to Leclerc for running him off, there was plenty to look at. However, it was the podium celebrations that gave Leclerc the opportunity to take his revenge regardless of the apology.

After Max Verstappen sprayed the champagne on Sergio Perez’s face, Leclerc came in from behind and sprayed the three-time champion right on his face which might have taught the Dutchman a few lessons about karma.
Nonetheless, it was not all as the Verstappen “podcast” took place in a limo which saw a very stressed Perez not wanting to third wheel the two podium winners anymore.
Max Verstappen remains unbothered despite being penalized
Max Verstappen has dominated this 2023 season effortlessly to the point that the driver is no longer worried about the penalties that might come his way to slow him down. Just like Oscar Piastri once said, “It is a matter of when and not if Max Verstappen will pass by”, the Dutchman has held himself to that statement.
However, this season the three-time champion has come back with his wits and humor in full fledge as he gets into tiny jokes with his race engineer, Gianpiero, whenever they get some time from having their “married life” arguments.

As the most awaited and Verstappen’s most hated race weekend started, the driver was seen running off the pole sitter, Charles Leclerc which caused him to serve a penalty. Nonetheless, the Dutchman stayed unfazed when he was told about the penalty on the radio, instead of panicking the driver let out his humor as he replied, “Yeah, that’s fine. Send them my regards.”
Even in a stressful moment with being only 2 seconds ahead of others, Verstappen had no worries as he continued his race and in the end, clinched his 18th win of the season.
