Charles Leclerc finished his qualifications on the front grid only to get the scare of his life. As the Brazilian Grand Prix started with its first qualifying session of the weekend, the atmosphere changed. By the end of Q3, a storm had started forming and for ten minutes, it caused a lot of damage. The Sao Paulo weekend saw a changing climate ahead of the Friday sessions.
The storm that formed by the end of the qualifications ended up destroying the grandstands in the arena. The storm ripped off grandstands and bent one completely putting many in danger.
However, one of the drivers was not the biggest fan of it either. As he finished in the front of the grid for a good start to his race on Sunday, he was not too pleased to be giving interviews.

As the storm continued to cloud over the Sao Paulo track, Leclerc was frightened by it. While giving an interview after his great qualifications, the driver was seen as scared of the thunder.
max verstappen stronger than me bc if charles was next to me closing his ears bc of the thunder and looking so pookie i would take it upon myself to change the laws of nature so thunder would be noiseless pic.twitter.com/5Nvn8OOtrR

As the loud sounds of the thunder followed, Leclerc could be seen squinting his face in fear. Soon after the thunder came down which scared not just Charles Leclerc but also Max Verstappen. Both the drivers held onto their ears, preventing themselves from hearing the loud thunder.
While the storm caused many to worry about their results over the weekend, Leclerc needed a hiding spot from the thunder.
Charles Leclerc gains special post-quali privilege, Max Verstappen left helpless
Charles Leclerc was not the biggest fan of the rain that poured after the storm. While he wanted to celebrate yet another good result for his team and himself, the weather in Brazil just did not allow it. Leclerc and Verstappen waited after their incredible result at the qualifications. However, the storm and the thundering left Leclerc wanting to look for a hideout.
As his interviews were done, Leclerc quickly took the one umbrella he saw and started running away. Although he could only make it to the garage next door. Nonetheless, he could not be caught in the rain or hear the thunders again.
However, this left the 2023 champion, Max Verstappen, with no umbrella to save himself. The driver ran behind Leclerc but it was of no use. As the two drivers met up again, Leclerc could be heard confessing his hate for the rain.

The Ferrari driver hilariously told Verstappen, “I’m very water-sensitive”.
Leclerc’s distaste for the thunder and rain was known. However, it is less likely to see any more storms coming in the way for the weekend.
