Jules Bianchi became a huge part of Charles Leclerc’s life. Leclerc and Bianchi’s family have been really close to one another. The two met because Bianchi is a good friend of Leclerc’s older brother. However, they soon formed a bond of their own and Bianchi became a mentor for Charles Leclerc. But after a tragic accident that killed Jules Bianchi, Leclerc was left to mourn on his own. the driver has lost his father too and later Bianchi. Nonetheless, he has stuck by the Bianchi family closely since then.
Recently, Charles Leclerc paid tribute to his late friend and mentor. The Monegasque joined the Bianchi family in remembrance of Jules. He stopped by the Castellet last week. When talking about Leclerc, Bianchi’s father said, “Fate meant that I lost my little one and him, his dad. It does us good to see each other. We remember lots of memories and beautiful things that we all did together. And we have the impression that they are still with us,”

Bianchi’s father found comfort in the Monegasque and Ferrari driver. He believes that since Leclerc has lost his father too he knows a thing about grieving. Bianchi was also close to Leclerc which makes his father someone he can put his faith in. Nonetheless, the two grieved about the loss of Bianchi. Leclerc has opened up about Bianchi quite a few times mentioning how he relied on his “big brother” after his father’s death.
The connection between Charles Leclerc and Ferrari started with Jules Bianchi
Charles Leclerc has stuck with his Ferrari team for a long time. Ever since he joined Formula 1 he has stuck by his Red team. However, it has a lot to do with Jules Bianchi. Bianchi was Leclerc’s closest friend. The driver was the next in line to be a Ferrari driver in Formula 1 while Leclerc was still in karting. Bianchi took in Leclerc to mentor him and handle his finances. After the death of Monegasque’s father, Jules overlooked everything for the Ferrari driver. However, before he could get his Ferrari seat, Bianchi passed on.
In 2018: “In 2014 we lost Jules Bianchi. This year, his godson, Charles Leclerc, made his Formula 1 debut. What Charles is doing is a continuation of Jules’ legacy. Charles has a mission, a mission to do what Jules should have done.”

Leclerc soon made his way to Formula 1 and stuck by them. The star has no other dream teams other than Ferrari and has locked in his fate with them. The reason, however, was Jules Bianchi. After Bianchi’s death, Leclerc took it upon himself to continue Bianchi’s legacy. Ever since Leclerc has stuck with his Ferrari team in order to respect Bianchi and bring him to justice. With his time at Ferrari being successful, there is the possibility of him staying with the team for a while. The Monegasque has brought the team a lot of race wins and was the one to get them their 800th win.
Leclerc continues to drive for his Ferrari team alongside Carlos Sainz. The Monegasque has also talked about staying with Ferrari with no other team he would want to be with. The Ferrari star has also talked about wanting to stay with the team to bring it to the top where it used to be. With big plans for his beloved team, Leclerc has found a home at Ferrari thanks to Bianchi.
