- Lewis Hamilton's biggest team shift reaches the ears of Tottenham Manager Ange Postecoglou.
- The Australian mastermind plays a prank of the media ahead of tomorrow's match against Everton.
The name Lewis Hamilton has finally reached every nook and corner of the world amidst his latest stunt in Formula 1. The seven-time world champion defied the odds to make what is being hailed as the greatest news in all of sporting history. Even world-famous soccer reporter Fabrizio Romano unleashed a special one-off transfer post on Hamilton, subsequently completing his first soccer F1 crossover.
Interestingly, the prominent Italian journalist isn’t alone, as Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has joined the Formula 1 buzz. During a press conference ahead of Tottenham’s forthcoming match against Everton, Postecoglou decided to pull the legs of his fellow reporters.
And what followed was an awkward silence across the room before the Australian admitted to the prank, leaving the media with a sigh of relief and some chuckles.
What did Ange Postecoglou say about Lewis Hamilton?
Following a rather busy transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur, Postecoglou made a suspiciously dull media appearance. The former Celtic manager looked distraught and it almost felt like deja vu, with a Spurs manager taking on the management led by Daniel Levy. However, Postecoglou eventually unmasked himself to reveal his true self, leaving the entire room in a light mood.

“The only disappointing one for us was that I felt there was a good opportunity for us, but the club didn’t feel it was right and he ended up going elsewhere. He went to Ferrari instead…..I got you all going there didn’t I?” Postecoglou said with a wry smile on his face.
This is a clear sign that Hamilton has acquired worldwide recognition, thanks to his cosmic journey in Formula 1, accumulating over a hundred podiums, pole positions, and race victories.
Ferrari promises to build an ’empire’ for Hamilton
To convince a driver as adamant as Hamilton to join their team is no easy task. And in Ferrari’s case, the Maranello outfit is yet to have a solid year since 2017 when Sebastian Vettel offered the Tifosi a glimmer of hope. However, John Elkann’s desperation has played a huge part in striking the epic deal with the seven-time world champion.
