With the Nico Rosberg curse proving to be powerful, he has now said he will try to take a picture with Max Verstappen before a race. This could allow another driver to win a Grand Prix finally.
Max Verstappen has won almost all the races this season so far. Out of the 14 races that have taken place, he has won 12 of them while Red Bull has won all of them. The Dutch driver has even broken the record for most consecutive wins. As it stands, there seems to be nothing that can stop Verstappen and Red Bull. Or so we think.
This season, the Nico Rosberg curse has gained a lot of popularity. Every time he has taken a selfie with a team during a race weekend, that team has not performed well. Before qualifying at the Hungarian Grand Prix, Rosberg took a selfie in front of Max Verstappen’s garage. That day, Verstappen failed to secure pole position.

The next day, he took another selfie in front of Lewis Hamilton’s garage after he took pole position. Lewis Hamilton finished outside the podium positions that race. He managed to curse 2 drivers during the same weekend. So the Rosberg curse has proven to be powerful time and time again. So powerful that McLaren put up a sign not allowing Nico Rosberg to take selfies near their garage during the Belgian Grand Prix earlier this season.
Now fans have demanded that Rosberg take a selfie with Max Verstappen before the Singapore Grand Prix. If the curse is real, it could jeopardize Max Verstappen’s win streak. We could see someone like Perez win the Grand Prix. The Mexican may already have a good chance as he is known to be the King of the Streets.
Nico Rosberg strikes again: What really happened at the Italian GP?
The day before the race, Ferrari had a positive qualifying that saw them start at pole position and P3. While the Tifosi were hoping for a Ferrari win, Nico Rosberg stepped up to take a selfie on race day.
Before the start of the Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg took a selfie with Ferrari and Red Bull’s pit walls in the background. Although he had both teams in the background, in the captions, he wrote Forza Ferrari. Later that day, Ferrari only managed a P3 and P4 finish behind the Red Bulls.
“I tried to do a neutral background because I thought I don’t want to cause any problems” 👀

During a Sky Sports podcast, he defended himself by saying he put a neutral background. He also said he put the Forza Ferrari in the caption because the whole weekend was about Ferrari and everyone was wishing them to win. Unfortunately, the team could not do so. Did the Rosberg curse have something to do with it? We will let the public be the judge for that.
During the same podcast, he also said he would take a selfie with Max Verstappen before the race. The next scheduled race will be the Singapore Grand Prix which will take place next weekend. It could be a challenging race for Red Bull as it has a lot of slow-speed corners and minimal straights. This could suit the McLarens or Mercedes. So
Do you think the Rosberg curse is real? If yes, with Rosberg’s help, could Mercedes, McLaren, or even Ferrari win the race in Singapore? Post your answers in the comment section below.
