In 1990, Anthony married a woman named Linda and two years later, the couple gave birth to Nicolas, who was born with a disorder and had to cope with a difficult childhood and teenage years.

Meanwhile, for his younger brother, it was even more challenging. Until the age of almost 17, Nicolas was wheelchair-bound. And it wasn’t until 2019 that Nicolas was re-invited to the series, this time by ROKiT Racing. In 2020, Nicolas finished a race [at Brands Hatch circuit] in P15, subsequently making him the first-ever disabled driver to score points in the British Touring Car Championships.
The 2023 season has, by far, been Nicolas’ best season, with the Briton scoring 10 points while also attaining his best finishing position yet.
