However, the path to glory was anything but easy in the Hamilton household. But, before we get there, here’s how the two Hamiltons are related. Lewis and Nicolas are half-brothers, sharing the paternal side, but with different mothers. Anthony divorced his first wife and Lewis’s mother, Carmen Larbalestier, in 1987 when the Mercedes F1 driver was only 2 years old.
In 1990, Anthony married a woman named Linda and two years later, the couple gave birth to Nicolas, who was born with a disorder and had to cope with a difficult childhood and teenage years.

Meanwhile, for his younger brother, it was even more challenging. Until the age of almost 17, Nicolas was wheelchair-bound. The Briton had been suffering from Cerebral Palsy since his birth, a disorder that obstructs the ability to move. But, Nicolas defied the odds to find himself out of the wheelchair after undergoing surgeries and persistent physiotherapy.
Nicolas Hamilton’s achievements as a racing driver
Nicolas made his racing debut in 2011 when he earned the opportunity to compete in the Renault Clio Cup and has since been part of the motorsport industry. As of 2023, Nicolas is yet to win a trophy, but, he does hold an interesting record in the series.
Nicolas earned a glorious opportunity to compete in the British Touring Car Championship in 2015. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mere one-off season. And it wasn’t until 2019 that Nicolas was re-invited to the series, this time by ROKiT Racing. In 2020, Nicolas finished a race [at Brands Hatch circuit] in P15, subsequently making him the first-ever disabled driver to score points in the British Touring Car Championships.
The 2023 season has, by far, been Nicolas’ best season, with the Briton scoring 10 points while also attaining his best finishing position yet.
What is Nicolas Hamilton’s net worth?
Nicolas is currently worth $5 million and is likely to have earned the majority of it through the touring championship. His salary details, though, remain undisclosed. Recently, Nicolas moved teams from Yazoo to Go-Fix, which has been quite promising so far.
