Ferrari Driver and 2022 Formula 1 season runner-up, Charles Leclerc from Monaco is the second most followed driver on the grid with 12.5 million followers on Instagram, after seven-time World Champion, Lewis Hamilton who boasts well over 35 million followers.
Recently, the Monegasque has come to light yet again, despite Ferrari’s mediocre performance this season. Puerto RIcan rapper and singer, Bad Bunny referred to Charles Leclerc on a track in his new album, ‘nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana’.
The Latin pop artist sang “Bajé acicala’o, negro entero, Tom Ford; Ferrari, no me gusta Ford” which roughly translates to “I came down groomed, all black, Tom Ford; Ferrari, I don’t like Ford”.
Fans are speculating that this might be the artist’s subtle nod to an incident where Charles Leclerc refused to sign on a fan’s Ford vehicle because he signed ‘only Ferraris’.

Bad Bunny was also sighted at the Miami Grand Prix and the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this season, this might mean that the fans’ speculations are not far away from the truth, even though the lyrics do not convey a clear message.
He can be seen supporting Red Bull Racing on his social media posts and also has pictures with Dutch three-time World Champion, Max Verstappen and teammate, Sergio Checo Perez in the paddock.
Charles Leclerc’s connection to the music industry
Italian Constructor, Ferrari’s poster boy has another talent up his sleeve. Earlier this year, the 25-year-old released a track with him playing the piano titled AUS23 (1:1). The song spent quite some time on the iTunes Worldwide Top 10 chart. Leclerc supposedly taught himself to play the piano during the COVID-19 outbreak and has “fallen in love with the instrument” ever since.

The Ferrari driver wrote on his Spotify page that he was excited to share with his fans a piano song he had been working on and that the song had been born out of his passion for music and had been created as a way for him to disconnect from racing and relax in between races.
Another driver from the grid that has diversified into music is the Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton, who featured in a song titled “Pipe” by American singer, Christina Aguilera.
Charles Leclerc has had a very disappointing season in 2023, in which he hoped to take the grid by storm but Red Bull’s reigning champion, Max Verstappen had other plans. He stands in 6th place in the standings with 153 points, behind teammate Carlos Sainz with a gap of 30 points.
