Lewis Hamilton has been well caught up in the Felipe Massa controversy and now has Helmut Marko defending Massa too. The Brazilian took legal action to get back the 2008 title that he lost.
After believing that a scheme was planned against him after the “Crashgate” scandal, he has filed a case against FIA and FOM. However, for Massa, he has only met dead ends with his legal battle. After asking Lewis Hamilton to cooperate with the legal battle, Hamilton and Toto Wolff have also responded to the situation.
Nonetheless, Helmut Marko had his own opinions to give about the Massa situation. Marko talked about the Brazilian getting his justice.
When talking to Kronen Zeitung he said, “Mr Hamilton, for whom records aren’t that important, would have one less.” The Red Bull boss gave his stance on the situation and believes Hamilton should just give one of his titles away. But with his own controversy surrounding him, he chose to keep his answer short.

Lewis Hamilton too was asked about the entire situation. Nevertheless, the driver made it clear that he is not focused on the past but on the future. His statements were a clear indication to not support Massa’s battle or cooperate. Toto Wolff too spoke about the situation and said that Mercedes too has been watching the legal battle closely. Additionally, he believes that Massa’s victory could be a great parallel to Lewis Hamilton’s 2021 title. However, the Brazilian has seen no update in his case so far.
Ecclestone feels the wrath of Felipe Massa after Lewis Hamilton denied support
After Lewis Hamilton refused to support Massa’s request to be cooperative. Nonetheless, he believes the Brazilian should do what he feels necessary. Although it seems the situation may have not sat well with Massa. For Felipe Massa, Hamilton’s lack of support was not the first dead end to his case. Earlier this month Bernie Ecclestone came out with a statement stating that he was aware of the “Crashgate” situation before it happened. But after Massa filed a legal case against him, he withdrew his statements saying he “has no memory of it”.
But with no new upgrades to his case, his wrath finally took over the best of it. In response to Bernie’s forgetfulness, Massa gave his remarks. The Brazilian told Motorsport.com, “Ecclestone only decided to say something after he saw the seriousness of our case and that we will not accept this stain on the sport. He is probably afraid of everything that will come to light with the lawsuits. It doesn’t matter.”
“As we have said several times, our objective is the trophy. We continue our battle for justice in sport.”

The case is still ongoing and the Brazilian is looking forward to getting justice. He has also asked for compensation if not the title. However, he has had no luck in his case so far but has plans to keep going forth.
