Max Verstappen and Gianpiero seem to share one of the closest relationships although it may not look so at times. The race engineer and Verstappen have had a long history behind the radio messages that can be heard between them.
The two first became a huge topic of conversation when the Dutchman and Lambiase shared a tense radio message. The two seemed to have been tense while Verstappen let out all his anger. There have been many such moments when the two bantered on the radio message or Verstappen was heard ordering him or letting off some steam.
There have also been times when the race engineer did not have it for the driver’s antics. However, Christian Horner soon revealed the “old married couple” relationship that the two have. According to the boss, the two are often bantering. They give off the old couple vibe who banter over every silly thing.

But it seems that behind the scenes the situation is completely different. When talking about Verstappen, Gianpiero confessed, “There is also a photo of Max and me in my living room. No, it’s not what you think. It’s not a normal photo, but an abstract painting of us. Let me call it art.”
The race engineer does not only have a picture of the two framed. But he went the extra mile to get an abstract painting of the two which he framed for his living room. The duo share a close bond and seem pleased working together.
Max Verstappen passes his verdict on having seven World Championships
Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are known to have a complicated relationship. While they support each other’s successes and are often seen talking off-camera, their rivalry is renowned. However, it has not stopped Verstappen from wanting what Hamilton has achieved.
As of now, Lewis Hamilton is the only active driver to hold the record of a seven-championship title. He has also been known to be the driver who has done a lot for this sport. But as Max Verstappen dominates the sport, it is only natural to believe he may not stop anytime soon.

When Max Verstappen was asked if would want to be a seven-time champion, he said, “Would I like to win seven? Yeah, why not? But even if I don’t win seven, I know that there are still so many more things in life than F1. I’m already very happy with what I have achieved.”
Although he has won three championships already, he seems to have more stored. However, the Dutchman believes he is happy whether or not he has seven titles. The driver has broken his own record and won 17 races in one season.
