Felipe Massa has been fighting for his legal case for quite some time now. Although he has found no end to his case, he has asked Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton to cooperate with his legal case.
Massa first came out around a month back asking for a change in the results of the 2008 Championship season. The season had the horrible “Crashgate” incident which also ruined Massa’s chances of getting his first championship title.
After asking Hamilton to cooperate in his case and getting denied of it, Massa went off on a little rant talking about how he deserves the title instead. He said, “[…] It’s a case of manipulation. We have to work for justice for the sport. We will see what answer they (FIA and FOM) give us and whether we will go into court or a tribunal, that’s something we have to decide. I was the champion for 38 seconds, but it wasn’t true. I was champion forever.”

“I was robbed, for sure. It was a perfect Championship, which ended by one point at Interlagos. But then we saw that there was a manipulated race (Singapore), and the result should have been cancelled.

The championship was settled with Hamilton winning the race and his first-ever championship. As for the Crashgate incident both the Ferrari drivers were involved.
The frustrations of his case finally caught up to him after reaching multiple dead ends all at once in his case. With even Bernie Ecclestone taking back his statements, the situation has become a debacle. However, everything has been in vain.
Felipe Massa takes a dig at Fernando Alonso in desperation
Felipe Massa “lost” his first title because of the “Crashgate” incident. However, the incident involved two of Renault’s drivers, Nelson Piquet Jr. and Fernando Alonso.
The incident had Piquet Jr. crash into another driver deliberately in order to help Fernando Alonso win a race. However, this also ruined Massa’s race and helped Hamilton win the race. However, Hamilton was not involved in the manipulation but FIA and FOM were allegedly aware.
Felipe Massa soon went on to become Fernando Alonso’s teammate at Ferrari. And with his 2008 case, he has put Alonso under fire too.
He said, “Yeah, yeah, for sure. He was an amazing driver, there’s nothing more you can say there, but it was quite difficult to work together inside the team. Actually, the team was splitting in the middle.” The Brazilian was overshadowed by Fernando Alonso for all four years at Ferrari.

With more points each season and an incident that involved Alonso and “robbed” him of his first title, the tension loomed at Ferrari. This also caused Massa to once again be a second driver to Alonso who had two more titles than he did.
