Over the years, we’ve seen die-hard Formula 1 fans embarking on a journey of acquiring collectibles, that include model cars of varying sizes and designs, helmets, autographed photos, and more signed apparel. However, for the very first time, the elite motorsport series has engaged with one of the most famous pop culture collectible makers to create vinyl figures of F1 superstars, including Lewis Hamilton.
Funko is an American company and is majorly known for its amazing work on ‘Pop!’. In recent years, Funko collaborated with numerous production companies of movies and world-famous television series to create adorable figures of Hollywood personalities. Similarly, F1 has somehow grasped the attention of Funko with its worldwide hit Netflix series, Formula 1: Drive to Survive.
As of today, Funko has only created three different figures under the Formula 1 department, namely, Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, and Max Verstappen. Surprisingly, Bottas was indeed Funko’s first-ever product which was then followed by the Finn’s ex-Mercedes teammate, Hamilton. And finally, the reigning world champion, Verstappen, is the latest to join the collectibles.

Bottas made his way to the official Funko page back in March 2022. However, the 10-time Grand Prix winner can be seen sporting the Mercedes AMG suit instead of Alfa Romeo. Months later, Funko also unveiled the figure of Hamilton before heading for a prolonged break. It wasn’t until recently that the Verstappen figure was finally offered to the buyers.
Is Lewis Hamilton the most expensive Funko Pop?
Surprisingly, Hamilton’s figure is the cheapest product of all and currently costs $12. Meanwhile, Bottas’ pop is the second-most expensive, costing around $15 per figure. But, it is indeed the Dutchman Verstappen’s vinyl figure that currently costs $16, mostly likely because of the product being regarded as the ‘latest arrival’.

At the moment, fans can acquire the unique F1 collectibles from the official Funko website. But, if out of stock, the buyers can also swing by other merchants of Funko’s products. The leading merchant is Amazon followed by the likes of Pop In A Box and Zavvi.
Overall, this is quite an exciting new expedition for the ardent F1 collectors. While there are only three collectibles available for buyers at the moment, the likelihood of witnessing the count expanding further in the coming months is almost inevitable. According to the latest update, it is indeed George Russell who is all set to make his debut as a Funko Pop followed by Red Bull’s Sergio Perez.
