The Las Vegas Grand Prix is scheduled to take place next week. It is one of the most exciting events for the city and country. However, the locals are not very happen with how the event has put their lives on hold.
The construction of the Las Vegas Grand Prix has been absolute chaos for the locals. This is mainly because most of the major roads in the city have been blocked for construction. The Las Vegas Strip is very important for the locals for transportation. However, since the strip is a part of the circuit, it has been blocked.
If anyone didn’t know there was an F1 race happening in a week, they would think there was the construction of some huge hotel. But no, all this construction is for a 3-day event which will take place from 17th November. After 19th November, all major constructions will be taken down and traffic will once again be allowed to flow through the strip.

The difficulties caused by the Las Vegas Grand Prix have put doubts on its sustainability. If the organizers don’t come up with a more convenient way to prepare for the race, the government may choose to ban the event from taking place next year. After all, it all depends on how popular the event is. While the Las Vegas GP has increased the economy of the city, it cannot come at the expense of the locals’ convenience.
If the Government bans the street circuit in Las Vegas, we may have only 2 races in the US. However, this could allow other countries to submit bids to host a race. Malaysia and South Africa are some of the top contenders to host a race. However, if the Vegas GP is successful, it could stay on the calendar.
How much does a ticket to the Las Vegas Grand Prix cost?
The Las Vegas Grand Prix tickets are among the highest on the calendar. However, most of the tickets have already been sold out. The only tickets remaining are SG1, SG3, and Hospitality tickets. All General Admission tickets have already been sold out.
Out of the tickets that are available at the moment, SG1 and SG3 are priced at $2,300. These tickets come with reserved seats and a giant screen as well. SG1 is located at the exit of turn 5 which could potentially be an overtaking zone. However, the main overtaking zones will be at turns 1 and 14.
SG3 is located between turns 6 and 7. At this turn, there won’t be many overtakes but could be a series of tricky corners. So we might see some drivers overcooking their cars in this corner. The final Hospitality zone is located in the North Koval Zone which is in the middle of one of the straights between turns 4 and 5. The tickets for the Hospitality seats are priced at $9200.

The tickets for the Las Vegas Grand Prix are by far the most expensive. It is F1’s first midnight race. F1 is expected to have an opening ceremony for the first time. When this was announced, fans immediately assumed that it was going to cringe. However, we are yet to see the results. Performances from the Blue Man Group and Cirque de Solee are also expected during the opening ceremony.
It will be exciting to see the final results of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. By final results I don’t mean the race results, but the grandeur of the event that everyone is expecting. Will the Las Vegas Grand Prix live up to everyone’s expectations or will it be a one-and-done event?
