Romain Grosjean made headlines in Formula 1 after getting into one of the most massive crashes. The driver was seen skating out of the barriers as his car caught on fire. After Grosjean seemingly not coming out of the car left everyone with red alarms in their heads.
However, against all odds, he became the “Man Who Walked Out of The Fire”. Soon he left the F1 scene and joined the IndyCar series in his pursuit of racing with Andretti.
However, Grosjean’s troubles seem to have been following him even to the IndyCar series. The driver, signed to Andretti for two years has now announced he has started arbitration proceedings.
After having a horrible first season, the driver showed some great performance at the start of the race. Nonetheless, with the car proceeded to become poor in performance leaving him in third of the Andretti drivers.

In his statement, he mentioned, “I am pursuing other options to continue my IndyCar career in pursuit of excellence.” Nonetheless, he seems to be in the talks of other teams.
It is also understood that his arbitration is not with the intention of getting back his seat at Andretti. Grosjean will continue to pursue his career in the IndyCar Series.
What caused the rift between Romain Grosjean & Andretti Global?
Grosjean has seen some tough luck when it comes to his career in motorsport. The driver has seen a massive failure in the Formula 1 series. The driver could barely get any points with the Haas team and could also barely get any laps in.
He was seen causing major crashes with the car to the point that the team could no longer afford to fix the car. However, he was seen leaving after the scary crash that almost left him dead.
But with his entry in the IndyCar Series, the driver was doing exceptionally. Although his first season was not the best, he started his second season winning races and finishing as a runner-up.
However, the car started having issues that were out of Grosjean’s hands and he lost his ranking. However, he did receive a contract extension but after signing from his end, Andretti did not complete the deal. Grosjean remained in the dark for a long time.

Soon he decided to put out his statement talking about the legal actions against Andretti. The Finnish driver has now asked for a settlement since the deal was offered and revoked when almost complete.
Furthermore, he has plans to stay at IndyCar and will be seeking other teams to drive for. As for Andretti, they may have signed someone else already with Grosjean completely clueless.
