While Carlos Sainz Jr. scored a much-deserved podium at the Italian Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc was forced to accept a 4th-place finish just behind his Spanish teammate. Sainz’s win was not viewed positively by all fans. There are still some fans who are not happy with the Sainz family’s social media activity.
After starting from pole position, Carlos spent the entire race defending from the Red Bulls and Charles Leclerc. He drove an impressive race as he held Max Verstappen behind him for 14 laps. No other driver apart from the Red Bull ones has managed to do so.
After both Red Bull drivers got past Sainz, Charles Leclerc lined up behind him. Both the Ferrari drivers fought together until the end of the line. Carlos Sainz had already burned through the tires by trying to defend the Red Bull. So Charles had the advantage when it came to tire wear. However, the Spaniard was able to keep his Monagasque teammate behind him until he saw the chequered flag.
Also just to put it in contrast, in silverstone last year when charles was shafted out of a win in a championship fight, he still congratulated that fraud, his family & friends never spoke ill of carlos and only ever pointed out ferrari is a clown team. sainz family is honorless.

While Sainz was praised by most fans for being able to keep the Red Bulls behind him for a long time, other fans took to social media to criticize the Sainz family’s behavior off the track. Ever since Carlos Sainz joined Ferrari, his parents have not been exactly happy with the attention Charles is getting on the same team.
Considering Carlos Sainz’s response to winning Silverstone was to like meme’s mocking his teammate on Instagram I’m not surprised his mother’s response to a podium at Monza is to also like hate tweets about Leclerc and Ferrari.
Sure, honour. https://t.co/oqc3h6eJGU pic.twitter.com/LV87ppgjPA

From what we have seen in the media and the interviews, there is nothing that suggests that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have any sort of beef between them. While Carlos Sainz Jr. might not have a problem with his Monagasque teammate, his parents don’t seem to be happy with the attention Charles is getting at Ferrari.
Does the Tifosi favor Charles Leclerc more than Carlos Sainz?
Ever since Charles won the Italian Grand Prix in his debut season with Ferrari in 2019, the Tifosi have chosen him to be the team’s star driver. Carlos Sainz is yet to win in Monza with Ferrari. His best result on the circuit with Ferrari came this year. If Carlos had won the Grand Prix, we could have seen the fans slowly change their favorite driver.
It’s funny how Leclerc didn’t get the podium but was happy for the team in the media, while Sainz got the podium yet him and his father are grumbling and taking digs at Charles and Ferrari.
Really shows you which driver loves the team and which one is an egotistical Nepo baby

As it stands, there is no doubt that the Tifosi are more in favor of Leclerc than Sainz. However, Sainz has been outperforming Leclerc this season. He also outperformed Leclerc in his debut season with Ferrari. Although Charles has been able to provide good results for the team, he has not been able to do so consistently. Sainz on the other hand has been able to finish in the top 6 on a consistent basis.
If Carlos wants to win the fans’ opinions, he will have to compete with Leclerc for the Championship if and when the team provides them with the opportunity. Or else, Charles will always be favored over Sainz.
