Christian Horner has shown nothing but loyalty to the Red Bull team. Recently he got the opportunity to prove his loyalty once again when he was asked about the possibility of going to another team like Alpine or Ferrari.
“I could not see myself being with another team.” Christian Horner said, “Having built this team, and working with such great people like Adrian, and so many other great talents… I couldn’t envisage putting on a different type of shirt. My commitment is absolute that I’ll continue to do it for as long as I feel motivated and capable.”
Christian Horner has been a part of Red Bull since its inception in 2005. He has been leading the team for almost 2 decades now. He has managed a number of drivers who have driven for the team including Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.
Horner says he would never go to another F1 team: “I could not see myself being with another team.” ❤️🥺

Horner is currently the longest-serving team principal on the grid. No other current team principal has been on the same team as long as Horner. So it is no surprise that Christian Horner wants to continue his stay at Red Bull for as long as possible.
In Red Bull, he has worked alongside Helmut Marko and Adrian Newey who have also been a part of the team since its beginning. Before joining Red Bull, Adrian Newey had already proved himself in Formula 1 by designing Championship-winning cars for William and McLaren.
Helmut Marko was a close friend of Red Bull owner Dietrich Masterchitz. It has been reported that Helmut was the one to convince Dietrich to start the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team. One of his first hires was Christian Horner as the team’s principal.
What did Christian Horner do before becoming team principal for Red Bull?
During his early years, Christian Horner was trying to pursue a career in racing. He drove in the Formula 3000 league until the age of 25. Co-founded the Arden racing team in Formula 3000 and drove for it as well. After that, he realized that his strengths were outside racing and decided to take a managerial road with the Arden team in Formula 3000.
Horner focused on improving the team and helping the drivers understand the car. He worked with a number of drivers and their managers over that period. He also managed a driver sponsored by Red Bull and managed by Helmut Marko. This is when he met the Austrian which eventually led to them teaming up in Red Bull Racing.
Had no idea about this but Christian Horner and Helmut Marko first met back in 1996 when Horner wanted to buy a trailer off Marko when he started Arden.

Since joining Red Bull, Christian Horner has led the team to a total of 5 WCCs and 6 WDCs so far. This number is expected to increase this year. The team continues to dominate the sport at a high level. They currently seem to be unbeatable. However, other teams such as Mercedes and Ferrari are slowly closing in on them.
Their most recent loss was at the Singapore Grand Prix where they finished behind Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes. This was their first disappointing season after a long time. Since the 2022 season, Red Bull has gotten accustomed to winning races.
