Charles Leclerc was not the victim of Ferrari’s poor strategy for the first time at the Dutch Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver was seen pitting while the team was not ready with the tires yet. This put the Ferrari star in a tough spot and soon after he retired from the race. However, he has been followed by nightmares of Ferrari’s poor strategy and planning for quite a long time.
The driver was on a YouTube channel SQUEEZIE with his friend and Alpine driver, Pierre Gasly. He could be seen reminiscing on one of the bad days he had with the team. In the YouTube video, the two first started by playing random games after which they sat down with a therapist. Each one went turn by turn to talk to her. The entire video was made for the fans to entertain them. However, while everyone was focused on how hilarious the entire video was, Leclerc fans could not help but notice the Monegasque “trauma dumping”.
In the video, he was asked what was the thing that he screamed out in his class. That was when the driver could be seen to realize what the person was talking about. Soon he talked about how he had a nightmare about one of his races.
He said in the video, “Yes, I was asleep and woke up from a nightmare. And I shouted “Box, box””

This made all the fans spiral over how hilarious the entirety of the video was. And soon it was assumed that he had a nightmare of his 2022 Monaco race. The driver was seen sweetly smiling in the video as he answered which left fans gasping for air on the floor.
What happened with Charles Leclerc in the Monaco 2022 race?
Charles Leclerc was leading the Monaco Grand Prix in 2022. He led the race for about 17 Laps after taking the lead at the beginning of the race. However, the race was experiencing rain. All drivers were out on wet tires. However, by the 17th lap of the race, Sergio Perez went on to pit for intermediates since the rain had stopped. Perez was right behind Charles who was called in to pit after two more laps of being on the tracks.
It hurts a lot. Thatās it.

On the contrary, Carlos Sainz was called in during the 21st lap of the race for dry tires. Had they done the same for Leclerc, he would have had a better chance at taking the lead back from Perez. However, the Ferrari strategy did what they do best, fail. The Monegasque was called in again for soft tires. Because of his additional second pit, he lost the lead and fell three positions from his starting position.
Until the end of the race, Sergio Perez kept the lead with Max Verstappen battling him and was the runner-up. Charles Leclerc earned a P4 during the race while his teammate won a podium driving in front of him.
