Carlos Sainz ran around with one of the most genius strategies in Singapore. The Ferrari driver was fast all weekend and earned himself a pole position. During the race, Sainz led the race from the very beginning. However, during the race, both the Mercedes caught onto Sainz and Norris. That is when Carlos Sainz showed the real genius in him. The Ferrari driver had a few plans to keep Lewis Hamilton and co. in the back.
The Ferrari driver gave Lando Norris DRS, keeping him right in the back. This earned him keeping both the Mercedes in the back and helping Lando Norris defend against them too. The genius move pulled by Sainz got the most talks in the F1 community. However, George Russell seemed to have been inspired by his move. During the Japanese Grand Prix, Russell was asked to let Lewis Hamilton pass. However, he had other plans.

He let the team know that he will help Hamilton defend against Sainz and then he can overtake. But he was asked to follow the team’s orders. This got the Mercedes team to be mocked by Sainz for copying his trick against him. The Ferrari team mocked the Silver Arrows team for their originality. Fans could not have enough of the radio exchange between Sainz and his team.
