SUMMARY
- Alpine suffers an early setback amidst nearing 2024 livery revelation
- This isn't necessarily the first time Alpine has made such a blunder with the livery ahead of a new season
As the 2024 season approaches, all the teams have started preparing the livery for the 2024 launch and left fans unimpressed so far. Until now, McLaren caused a storm after deleting all the posts on their social media to hard-launch the black and orange livery for the year. However, with the teams ready to show off their new livery, Alpine may not get to shock the fans anymore.
Alpine had a good year last season when they secured the P6 spot in the constructors championship. Nonetheless, it seems the team is now left with nothing to surprise their fans, although another great spot in the standings might help their case.
Alpine loses its chance to shine before the 2024 season begins
Alpine has seen a drastic change in their liveries in recent years. With the sponsorship from BWT, they have made necessary changes for their cars and their drivers. However, with it being one of the first full years joining hands with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and a secured investment of $218 million.
However, the liveries have become a part of something that the fans sit on the edge of their seats and look out for the most. While McLaren’s livery became a huge disappointment for fans, it looks like Alpine already found a way to do so before they launched their livery.

After a good season with Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly getting the most out of the car, it looks like Alpine is trying its best to hold onto its roots. After a fan posted what could be a potential snapshot of the 2024 Alpine livery, fans were left stunned over how similar it looked to its previous season’s livery.
The blurred picture showcased a blue and pink-themed livery for Alpine that they have had for years. However, fans were not impressed as many mentioned it being similar to last year’s car while some even went as far as to calling it “recycled”. Although the only two teams who have launched their liveries have had no luck with impressing the F1 community, all hope stays on Red Bull and the rest of the grid.
Did Alpine’s livery get leaked for the second time in two years?
Alpine has tried its best when it comes to withholding the livery before the launch dates but miserably failed for the second time in a row. Last season, Alpine came up with the idea to have a closed shakedown of their 2023 challenger before the launch of the livery.
Ok pixel peepers, there’s an Alpine on track at Silverstone today but is it the new car or the old one? pic.twitter.com/DImXXQflhK

However, things did not go as the team planned with pictures of their 2023 livery leaked from the shakedown, leaving fans disappointed with how irresponsible the team was with the launch and the shakedown. Nonetheless, with it happening once again, fans don’t seem surprised but rather disappointed.
