Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is already at the peak of his career while being in his mid-twenties. The form and power to change the course of the race is something that makes him invincible. This is a fact that is undeniable even for his rivals who would take any measure to put a stop to it.
However, recently this notion was addressed by former British driver Sir John “Jackie” Stewart, the three-time World Championship title holder who retired back in 1973 after his third championship win.
The senior Briton made it evident that Max Verstappen isn’t just yet another F1 driver. While conversing with the German media house BILD, he said, “Usually drivers develop until their late twenties. But to be honest, I don’t see much room for Verstappen to improve. But you have to remember that he is not a normal 25-year-old. He has been racing Formula 1 since he was 17 and has much more experience than others his age.”

Right from his early days in the sport, the Dutchman exhibited incredible speed, but his abilities had unpolished edges that needed to be softened down. As many would assume the reason behind his ruthless maneuver is the consequence of his harsh upbringing by his former driver father Jos Verstappen. Regardless, Max’s rise to prominence in Formula 1 has been nothing short of spectacular.
Has Max Verstappen Ever won the Singapore GP?
If we go by the record, Red Bull’s star driver has yet to win the Singapore Grand Prix as he has never done that before in his career. While the Marina Bay track makes the Singapore GP much more thrilling, it also poses a great challenge for the drivers. It is something of a mental and physical strain on the drivers, as it pushes them to their limits. They must give it their all in this race, which is a genuine test of their endurance and talent.

Sergio Perez made history in 2022 after he broke the dominance of World Champions in the winner’s circle. He managed to attain what Max Verstappen, his teammate, had not yet been able to do. Despite his exceptional skill, the Dutch driver has had trouble on courses like the Marina Bay one. In reality, he has yet to win on seven tracks, but at this point, it seems like winning races is a piece of cake for him.
But Max Verstappen, nevertheless, seems unfazed. He might just go ahead and break another record by winning the upcoming race at the very same track. Verstappen holds a good possibility as per statistics, of winning all the upcoming races of the season and the grand win at Singapore will be a cherry on top.
