IShowSpeed is one of the biggest streamers in the world. The American YouTuber has garnered a massive fan following for his over-the-top antics and reactions. However, sometimes these antics have landed the streamer in deep trouble.
The same was evident in a previous stream of IShowSpeed, where a group of Cincinnati police officers was involved in an incident with the streamer. Speed released a video on August 8 where he was caught on camera in handcuffs.
An unidentified person reported IShowSpeed as a threat and called the police to detain him. The police came and swatted the content creator for weapons. During the process, Speed appeared to be in total shock and was heard stating, “Oh my god, bro! I swear I didn’t do anything. I didn’t do s**t. Oh my god!”
The cameraman was able to shoot the whole incident before one of the officers approached him and asked him to stop filming. It was later revealed that Speed was falsely reported by one of the residents of the area, which led to the wrong detention of the content creator.
IShowSpeed was later released from the handcuffs and was not arrested. The criminal record of the YouTuber remained clear even after the whole incident with the Cincinnati police.
IShowSpeed almost got arrested in India
The controversial content creator had another close shave with the police when he was on a tour of India. The American YouTuber was in Mumbai for a meet-and-greet with his fans when the situation got out of hand.
As Speed walked around the streets to explore the city, the crowd kept increasing. It came to a point when Speed couldn’t move even five steps without bumping into one of his fans. Seeing the large crowd gathering around him, local Mumbai police came near him to control the situation.

The police were there to help the 18-year-old in order to safely escort him out of the crowd. However, due to a language barrier, Speed initially thought that the police were there to arrest him for creating a nuisance in the crowd. During the video, Speed was heard saying, “I don’t want to go to jail bruh. Don’t take me to jail bruh, I love you”.
The reaction was evident: IShowSpeed wanted to stay clear of the authorities and wanted to maintain his clean record. Even though Speed has been part of various controversies with YouTube and Twitch, he has never been arrested and has a clean criminal record.
The tour of India was another successful tour for the content, where he created viral content throughout his visit to the Asian country. At present, Speed has maintained a clear distance from police authorities in the USA as well as in foreign countries.
