Electronic Arts’ (EA) UFC 5 video game is all set to launch and fans are eagerly awaiting the game to launch. UFC 5 is set to launch on October 27, 2023, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. For the first time in the franchise series, the game is developed on their Frostbite Engine. It features the all-new Real Impact System.
The title promises the definitive MMA experience with exceptional gameplay and graphics specially built for modern consoles. UFC President Dana White stated in a press statement that, “UFC 5 is the most realistic MMA experience fans can have outside of the Octagon. This game is incredible and truly a next-generation UFC experience.”
The upcoming game will come in two editions, both of which will include pre-order bonuses. The deluxe edition will come for a price tag of $99.99, featuring bonuses such as three days early access starting October 24, 2023. Besides it will also include Mike Tyson, Fedor Emelianenko, Muhammad Ali, Bruce Lee Bundle, 4 Alter Egos (Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski, Valentina Shevchenko).
It introduces two more bundles namely, Origins Bundle, having Conor McGregor, Leon Edwards, and 22 Vanity Items, and the 30th-Anniversary Vanity Bundle, including 4 Vanity Items. The deluxe edition also includes online career mode XP boosts (x5). UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya features on the UFC 5 Deluxe Edition cover.
On the other hand, the standard edition will cost $69.99. It will include bonuses such as 2 Alter Egos (Alexander Volkanovski, Valentina Shevchenko), 30th-Anniversary Vanity Bundle (4 Vanity Items), Online career mode XP boosts (x5), and Muhammad Ali.

Ahead of its launch, the UFC 5 Fighter Ratings were recently revealed by EA. The ratings were revealed in two categories – Bantamweight and Featherweight. The ranking rated the striking, grappling, and health under a five-star system to give an overall rating out of five.
Interestingly, Alexander Volkanovski is the only fighter to have been rated 5 in striking and health, leading to an overall rating of 5. Meanwhile, other players were rated 5 in specific aspects but not overall. Sean O’Malley was rated 5 in striking, while Max Holloway, Cory Sandhagen, and Marlon Vera were rated 5 in health. Similarly, Aljamain Sterling was rated 5 in grappling.

The UFC 5 Women’s Bantamweight Fighters list was topped by retired female fighter Amanda Nunes with an overall rating of 5. The developer also revealed the Top Skilled rating in terms of Kick Power on a scale of 100. Edson Barboza (Featherweight) topped the list with a rating of 98.
