The Finals is an upcoming free-to-play FPS game from Embark Studios. The game focuses on team-based matches on environmentally destructible terrain, with players urged to take advantage of the changing environment.
It comes with a unique game mode that players may try out early in the Open Beta for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Along with the unique game mode in which players must gather and bank cash to win, there are also Contestant builds and Equipment that players must understand in order to play the game successfully.
Builds are The Finals‘ take-on classes, and each one has access to a wide range of weapons, specializations, and gadgets, making each build feel unique.
Best light build for The Finals
The Light Build can move quickly as the designated hit-and-run class. They have far less health than the other classes. Because of the nature of the build, the greatest Light Builds prioritize mobility while providing the user with a plethora of tools to help them escape dangerous circumstances.
- To begin, the Grappling Hook is an absolute must for practically any Light Build. You can use the Grappling Hook to pursue down adversaries or to flee and regroup.
- In terms of gadgets, the Flashbang is excellent for breaching structures and getting the upper hand on your opponents.
- Smoke Grenade can be used when it’s time for you to escape and make a getaway.
- Smoke Grenades, on the other hand, can be used offensively thanks to Thermal Vision. Thermal Vision allows you to see other contestants’ heat signatures. So, if you combine the two devices, you can sit in your smoke and fire at adversaries, and if they don’t have Thermal Vision, they’ll have no choice except to flee and find cover or fire back blindly.
- Finally, for the Light Build, the V9S is the greatest all-around weapon. While there are other alternatives, the V9S is by far the most well-rounded and versatile of the Light Build’s weaponry. V9S appears to be a simple sidearm, yet it is deceptively strong and excels in close, and medium-range battles. The V9S’s ammo capacity is one of its most underappreciated features.
Best heavy build for The Finals
The Heavy build has the most HP of any construction, but it also has the slowest speed. The Heavy Build is the game’s tank, leading the charge on Cashout Stations and commanding objectives with its varied toolbox.
- For the most part, the Heavy Build is sluggish and plodding, but the Charge ‘N’ Slam offers it much-needed maneuverability. You can use the Charge ‘N’ Slam to propel yourself ahead, break through walls and barriers, and do damage to your opponents, or you can activate it mid-air to smash the ground in an area-of-effect attack.
- Equip the RPG-7 to provide the Heavy Build with yet another attacking tool. Because of its ease of use and sheer explosive capability, the RPG-7 is a must-have for any Heavy Build.
- The Heavy Build can defend objectives on its own thanks to the Barricade and Explosive Mine. Set up Barricades at entry points to keep opponents out, and if they do manage to sneak in, a well-placed Explosive Mine will make them regret their decision to enter your zone.
- When it comes to which weapon to employ with the Heavy Build, the M60 is definitely your best bet. The M60 LMG is the best all-around weapon available to the Heavy Build, capable of dispatching hordes of foes at a variety of ranges.
The first closed beta of the game ran from March 7 to 21, 2023. The second closed beta ran from June 14 to 21, 2023. An open beta is also being held between October 26 and November 5. The game is all set to be released in 2023.
