Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones is close at hand. The game is all set to officially hit the shelves on February 16, 2024. Skull and Bones is an action-adventure pirate video game, which had been in development reportedly since 2013.
Meanwhile, players who have pre-ordered the Premium Edition of this much-awaited game of 2024 or are Ubisoft+ subscribers will get access to the full version of Skull and Bones three days earlier, that is on February 13, 2024. On the other hand, ahead of the official launch, Ubisoft announced one last open beta for Skull and Bones.
Skull and Bones open beta
Players could take advantage of the open beta of Skull and Bones which started on February 8, 2024. Interestingly, the game supported full crossplay and cross-progression during the open beta period. Additionally, the devs also announced that all the progress made by players during the open beta will be carried over into the full game when it releases on February 16, 2024.
Players playing the open beta currently will be capped at Infamy Tier 6. Additionally, they can earn five exclusive rewards during the beta that will be carried over to the launch. These rewards are a unique ship cosmetic, emote, weapon, and Lemur pet.
Since the beta has all the features of the full game including cross-play and cross-progression, players can enjoy the game on all platforms, namely, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC without losing progress.
Skull and Bones open beta end time
The Skull and Bones open beta started by Ubisoft on February 8, 2024, will draw curtains two days before the early access begins. Thus the Skull and Bones open beta ends on February 11, 2024. Here are the times when the open beta will become non-operational in different regions:
- Los Angeles (UTC-8) – February 11 at 3:00 PM
- New York (UTC-5) – February 11 at 6:00 PM
- Brazil (UTC-3) – February 11 at 8:00 PM
- London (UTC) – February 11 at 11:00 PM
- South Africa (UTC+2) – February 12 at 1:00 AM
- Perth (UTC+8) – February 12 at 7:00 AM
- Tokyo (UTC+9) – February 12 at 8:00 AM
- Sydney (UTC+11) – February 12 at 10:00 AM
- Auckland (UTC+13) – February 12 at 12:00 PM

At the above times, all players across the globe will lose access to the servers. Meanwhile, players who were playing open beta recently reported encountering an unknown error code OWL-0002900F. Ubisoft did not address the issue however, it was likely a server-related error.
Notably the game will have a PC release on launch, but will not be available on Steam for PC players. PC players will have to get the game via the Epic Games Store or the official Ubisoft Store.
