Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is out, and fans are enjoying it. The game walks in the footsteps of its predecessor, wherein there will be some missing content in the first few weeks after release. The added stages and characters will be introduced in DLC, which is expected sometime after release.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a fighting crossover video game from the hood of Ludosity and Fair Play Labs. It is published by GameMill Entertainment. The game involves a new single-player story campaign wherein the player has to stop Vlad Plasmius from taking control of the universe.
The game was released on November 7, 2023, two years after its first installment in 2021. The digital version of the game is priced at $49.99, the Digital Ultimate edition is priced at $79.99, and the Digital Deluxe edition is priced at $69.99. However, only the digital version has been released for now across platforms. The physical versions for Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will be launched on December 1, 2023.
Does All-Star Brawl 2 support crossplay?
To the delight of fans, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 supports full crossplay. The game does not have any limitations to the cross-platform play. The game is available on a multitude of platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. Thus, players playing on any of these platforms can play with all others through online multiplayer.
Notably, cross-platform was not supported in the first game, and it has been something that’s been highly demanded by fans. Looks like GameMill Entertainment is finally delivering it. As a result, this time around, players can play together.
That being said, there has unfortunately been no word on whether cross-progression will be available. Cross-progression allows players to save their progress across multiple platforms.
