Popular content creator Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson stands as a prominent figure in the current generation. His monumental YouTube career serves as motivation for many. Although his captivating and entertaining videos constantly draw attention, it is his philanthropic nature and dedication to making a positive difference in society that truly endears him to his fans.
Since the inception of his career, MrBeast has earned a reputation for generously donating money to unsuspecting individuals, a practice he continues to uphold to this day.
However, this leads to a commonly asked question among his viewers, who are oftentimes astonished by the non-reactive participants receiving heaps of cash in his videos. Is there a script behind MrBeast’s videos?
This confusion was recently clarified by Jimmy himself, who explained that the high-quality and seamless appearance of his videos might give the illusion of being scripted.
“Like sometimes you’ll give someone 100 grand and they’ll just be like, thanks and I’ll be like, anything else you want to say? And I know like, if they don’t say something, please have a dying mom. Please have. It’s more like any time I upload a video where someone’s like doesn’t freak out.
“People on the comments are like, oh, it’s fake and there’s just all these conspiracy theories and everyone’s like certain, like if I won 100 grand, I would have reacted. The only explanation for why they would freak out is MrBeast Fakes it.”
During the interview, he addressed the misconceptions surrounding his videos, explaining that his genuine approach often gives the impression of premeditation, causing people to question their authenticity.
What are some of the biggest giveaways in MrBeast history?

Instead of having a single winner, he divided the prize among the participants. For this 10-hour-long game, he rented an entire mall, and each contestant started with $10,000.
If found, the participants had to return the money. Out of the 100 participants, only 23 managed to evade being found, each departing with a briefcase containing $10,000. MrBeast awarded the SWAT team, who assisted in locating the contestants, with a cash prize. Additionally, other participating YouTubers had boats presented to their mothers, no less!
MrBeast’s one of the most lavish giveaways to date has been a private island valued at $2,000,000. In celebration of surpassing 100,000,000 subscribers on YouTube, he extended an invitation to 100 subscribers to compete in several challenges, vying for the opportunity to own the island.
After completing the first challenge, MrBeast reduced the number of contestants by half. In the final round, he assigned the remaining participants the task of locating the play button awarded to him by YouTube as recognition for reaching the milestone of 100 million subscribers.
In one of the most colossal giveaways in his history, MrBeast presented a $2,500,000 private jet as a prize. The giveaway took the form of an endurance game on a viral YouTube challenge he hosted.
The winner eventually walked away with the private jet as their reward. However, the recipient didn’t maintain ownership—it was on the grounds the private jet be returned to MrBeast. Subsequently, we learned the winner sold the jet, getting its approximated value of $2.5 million.
