EA Sports and EA Tiburon developed the American football video game Madden NFL 24. It is a Madden NFL installment that comes after Madden NFL 23 and is based on the National Football League. August 18 saw the release of Madden NFL 24 on Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation. Similar to games in the series since the beginning of the ninth generation of gaming, reviews for the game were divided.
Madden 24 brings back the wildly popular X Factor show. These powers first appeared in Madden 20, when they were bestowed upon elite players who, upon reaching specific in-game milestones, would transform into an almost unstoppable force. Running backs became hard to tackle, quarterbacks could complete every throw they attempted, and defensive ends became unstoppable.
Currently, there are a number of players with X Factors in Madden 24. It includes Derrick Henry, Davante Adams, Mark Andrews, Chris Jones, Ja’Marr Chase, Saquon Barkley, Von Miller, Lavonte David, Mike Evans, Nick Chubb, Josh Allen, Jalen Ramsey, and Patrick Mahomes.
Madden 24’s 10 best X factor abilities
Run and Gun
It grants flawless passing while running. If players want to replicate the amazing physical accomplishments of Russell Wilson or Lamar Jackson, your best bets are Run and Gun. With this, they won’t be hindered by many defenders when they scramble out of the pocket.
Bazooka
It increases the maximum throwing distance. For players like Pat Mahomes who want to stand in the pocket and launch absolute missiles over defenders, Bazooka is a better option. Although it works better when they remain stationary, players can use it while running as well.
Double Me
It wins hard catches against one-sided coverage. For those looking for a receiver who won’t back down in one-on-one confrontations with a CB, Double Me is the best option. Simply give it everything they have and watch them channel their inner Randy Moss when they’re performing at their best.
Max Security
It has a high rate of possession catches. Players can utilize Max Security to transfer the chains with ease, even with slower receivers. Even though they won’t be starting Moss-style defenders, they will come down with the ball. A safe set of hands, that is.
Wrecking Ball
It has a great success rate with trucks and rigid arms. If players want to start throwing stiff arms on those side-to-side routes in Madden that have been so successful over the years, Wrecking Ball is a terrific option. With this, they will have more arm power to fend off any potential tacklers.
Shutdown
It enables more interceptions on contested catches and tighter coverage. Shutdown is the one players need to choose if they want to place someone on Revis Island. Shutdown, using databases is very hard to overcome and will receive a good number of INTs.
Bottleneck
It largely succeeds in man-press attempts. Bottleneck is an excellent option for players who want to play stifling defense that gets them off the field in four plays or less. It’s the option for those looking for a physical man-to-man cornerback, a la Xavien Howard or Marcus Peters, who can wear down a receiver.
Blitz
Here resistance bars are removed from on-field blocks. For defensive linemen in Madden, X-Factor is all about sabotaging the offensive momentum of the opposition. Like with Aaron Donald, Blitz will continuously wear out the opponents.
Unstoppable Force
Here faster block-shedding results from pass rush victories. Defensive ends and outside linebackers who need to get to the backfield quickly and have a rapid first step will find Unstoppable Force ideal.
Momentum Shift
Here, opponents on the field lose their zone advancement. Momentum Shift is an excellent option for those who worry about opponents gaining momentum and moving into their zone. Once they activate this X-Factor, they will have them start over from scratch.
The NFL’s superstars are highlighted and set apart from other players in Madden 24 by EA SPORTS using X-Factors, a practice that has continued in recent years.
