Felix Lengyel, a.k.a. xQc, is a Canadian professional Overwatch player and internet streamer. Even while Lengyel is most known for his streaming career, he was first well-known for being a competitive Overwatch player. In 2016, he launched his eSports career and began to stream on a daily basis. In late 2017, he signed on with the Dallas Fuel, a team playing in the Overwatch League’s inaugural season.
But scandal dogged his time with the Dallas Fuel, leading to multiple bans and, in the end, his dismissal from the team midway through the season. Lengyel turned his attention to a full-time Twitch streaming career after quitting professional Overwatch. He also inked deals to become a content developer with a number of eSports companies, including Sentinels and Luminosity Gaming, during this time.
Lengyel has experienced multiple bans and suspensions on Twitch due to platform policy violations during his streaming career. On these occasions, offensive statements were made by him, sexual content was shown, and stream sniping was practiced. Legzyel continues to draw big and devoted audiences in spite of these scandals, and his viewership remains strong.
From 2020 to 2022, he maintained the title of most-watched Twitch livestream for three years in a row. Lengyel inked a two-year, non-exclusive $100 million streaming contract with Kick in June 2023.
xQc’s YouTube channel gets terminated
YouTuber xQc has been the target of several copyright violations after receiving criticism for “stealing content” for his reaction videos. But in recent weeks, xQc had stopped uploading to YouTube, as if he was trying to avert another copyright violation that would have jeopardized his account.
However, the streamer recently discovered that his YouTube channel has been disabled because trying to access the page resulted in an error notice saying, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else”.

When xQc responded to the issue in real-time on his stream, he seemed confused and a little frustrated. He thinks that auto-termination occurred because unprocessed pending counterclaims on copyright strikes were not handled on time.
“I think it’s because, like basically I think some, what the strikes were going to kick in, then I had like a counterclaim, and then it just, it didn’t kick in in time or something like that, and it’s auto-termination, but it gets, it comes back up”, xQc said, sounding optimistic about the situation’s reversal.
Fans blame fellow YouTuber for xQc’s channel ban
The controversy between xQc and Pokimane started when the former gave the latter’s Midnight Mini Cookies a try on his most recent stream, claiming to provide an unbiased review.
Pokimane’s Myna Snacks received criticism for a number of reasons. The online celebrity has been through a difficult period lately, with charges of drop-shipping comparable Costco items and backlash over the cost of her first batch of cookies hanging over her. Calling out “broke” viewers only served to stoke the flames, as several other streamers also retaliated.
After eating the cookie on his live stream, xQc stated, “The initial taste…doesn’t taste like much. Tastes like an Oreo cookie, but worse. Not as bitter. But then, the taste kicks in and it’s not terrible.” xQc further added that he is a cookie lover and Pokimane’s cookie has an odd texture. He then went on to give the biggest criticism by saying that the aftertaste of the cookie left him upset and annoyed.

Fans now have drawn a hilarious link between these two events. Some fans think that xQc’s YouTube account getting terminated has some time to do with him reviewing Pokimane’s cookies. xQc has been at the center of different controversies for quite some time and his YouTube account was not banned. Therefore, fans think it’s not a coincidence that xQc’s account was banned after he reviewed Pokimane’s cookie.
