Fans showed their anger and disappointment after not seeing The Eater of Worlds on the poster. “No Bray”, Y’all had one Job and it was to put Bray on the Cover,” “It should have been Bray Wyatt,” yelled several users. Users also posted GIFs of Bray stating “should have been him”. A user also called out the original cover, calling it “This is a load of sh*t“.
Fans are truly angered by seeing Cody on the cover instead of Bray. Several fans were also elated to see the cover. Many fans think that The American Nightmare has earned the right to be on the cover given his success in the company since his return.
WWE’s new project on Bray Wyatt
Fans might be sad after not seeing Bray on the cover of WWE 2K24, but they may get their hopes up as the Stamford-based promotion is planning a secret project on the Superstar. A new project centered on the late superstar Bray Wyatt, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at 36, is reportedly being worked on by WWE. He was resting at his Clermont, Florida, home when he suffered a heart attack and passed instantly.

PW Insider revealed in a conversation with Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas that a new book project honoring Bray has begun in the WWE. The investigations also verified that Jason Baker—the creator of Bray’s “The Fiend” persona and the man behind the ‘Uncle Howdy’ mask—was involved in the endeavor.
WWE had previously declared that all of the money raised from selling his merchandise would support his family during hard times. Fans of ‘The Fiend’ are missing him, and they would be thrilled to see this initiative from the Stamford-based promotion.
WWE 2K24 looks to be a promising game with several new additions
While the cover wouldn’t have pleased a lot of fans, WWE 2K24 brings a lot of new things to the table. Several series firsts are present in WWE 2K24, including two unique MyRISE experiences, four new match types, including an Ambulance Match and Special Guest Referee, as well as a 2K Showcase of the Immortals honoring 40 years of WrestleMania.
A staggering roster of more than 200 WWE Superstars and Legends, including Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Chyna, and more. The most visually stunning WWE 2K experience to date is brought to life with incredibly realistic visuals, enhanced animations (over 90% of facial expressions have been upgraded), better Ramp and Dive cameras, and the option to rotate the camera during live games.
WWE 2K24 promises to be a stellar game with a lot of game modes in it. It also brings back a lot of weapons used in the old SmackDown vs. RAW game series. It also brings back the classic casket match type, which elevates the excitement levels even more. Despite the backlash for the cover star, the Stamford-based promotion looks to have a game that provides nothing but top-quality content.
