Once players have carried out the smaller heists they should have enough money to meet the prerequisite criteria’s for starting the heist. One of the most significant prerequisite and setup required for the Doomsday Heist is a Facility.
At the time when Doomsday Heist was released, it was one of the most ambitious ones in GTA Online. It also set the bar really high for any future title updates. Unlike other heists, what made this one special was that it wasn’t a done and dusted thing. The Doomsday Heist was played out in 3 Acts, which meant that the stakes were higher with each act. Naturally, every act was more dramatic than the other and escalated into chaos and madness.
The Doomsday Heist to date remains one of the most loved ones of the community even though newer ones have come up recently. One of the main reasons for its popularity is its endlessly replayable quality and the pure over-the-top nature of the events that unfold.
How to start Doomsday Heists in GTA Online?
To start a Doomsday heist in GTA Online, firstly, players will need a Facility. The only reason one requires a Facility is because it will have a Hi-Tech briefing room where one will be able to initiate the Doomsday Set-up Missions.
There are several facilities up for purchase through Maze Bank Foreclosures in GTA Online. Depending on the location of the Facility and the customization one chooses the prices may rise.
Here’s how one can buy a Facility:
- Pull up the in-game phone
- Choose “Internet”
- Go to Maze Bank Foreclosure
- Select the Facility of choice and add customization options
The map includes several Facilities like:
- Paleto Bay Facility – $1,250,000
- Mount Gordo Facility – $1,465,000
- Lago Zancudo Facility – $1,670,000
- RON Alternates Wind Farm Facility – $1,855,000
- Zancudo River Facility – $2,100,000
- Route 68 Facility – $2,312,500
- Grand Senora Desert Facility – $2,525,000
- Sandy Shores Facility – $2,740,000
- Land Act Reservoir Facility – $2,950,000
After purchasing the Facility, Lester will contact the player for a massive Heist. That’s when a player’s move to the big leagues in GTA Online begins.
Players need to complete a couple of missions to get started. One can choose to source the required equipment for the missions through Freemode tasks or one can buy it for a hefty sum if one has the money. Although getting the equipment needed in the setup from the Freemode can be time consuming, it is also rewarding.
The Doomsday Heist is divided into three acts. Act 1 requires players to steal ambulances and get inside of places to target data in an IAA base. On the other hand Act 2 requires players to go all over the place with hard drive collections, go underwater in submarine cars and go airborne. Finally, Act 3 is the ultimate act by the end of which, players will find themselves flying bombers and surviving in the air.

Remember that one needs a group of 2-4 players to carry out the Doomsday Heist. The less players, the less difficult the enemies are and vice versa.
