As the secrecy around any details of the much anticipated Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 continues, more and more leaks and spoilers are surfacing on the internet almost every day. And these leaks are making sure to keep the fans on the edge of their seats while giving them sneak peeks into the game’s details.
Another leak, rather a leaked image surfaced on the internet today, which gave fans another insight into what they can expect in the upcoming game. The images, which were initially posted on Twitter but were immediately taken down on copyright grounds, gave a glimpse of gumball vendors suggesting that players could potentially be able to interact with objects in the game.
In one of the images, the rumored protagonist Lucia is seen walking on the pavement near the entrance of what looks like a departmental store. Just outside the entrance to the right one can clearly see four gumball vendors. including one giant spherical gumball vending machine and a set of three square shaped vending machines. All four containers are filled with colorful gumballs.

Similarly, the second image is a closeup image of the three square shaped vending machines. Notably, gumballs are not the only objects seen in the images. The first image also displays bottles containing black liquid and red labeling with white text, stacked up inside the departmental store. They could possibly be Coca-Cola bottles.
The entrance of the store has a sign that reads, “Use a basket for easy shopping.” The existence of all these objects and their detailing could possibly mean that players would be able to interact with these objects in the game.
Gumballs can regenerate stamina in GTA 6?
It is not the first time that the existence of gumballs in GTA 6 was leaked. Rumors that GTA 6 will have gumballs and that at one point in the gameplay, there will be an interactive prompt to purchase a gumball from a gumball machine have been doing rounds for a year.
Gumball vending machines existed in GTA 5 too, however, players were not able to interact with them. In January this year, a user pointed this out on X (previously Twitter). Another user reposted the tweet saying, “Maybe bubble gum will regenerate your stamina in GTA 6.”

Well, unless the Rockstar Games does not officially reveal details about their most awaited game the rumor mill will continue to spin, with one rumor paving the way for another. The dust will only settle when official details are revealed about GTA 6. Later last month the CEO of Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, in an interview had hinted a April 2024 to March 2025 window for the release of GTA 6.
