With the upcoming Update 2, Forza Motorsport gamers can expect over 200 updates. Turn 10 Studios, the game’s developer, has been monitoring Forza Motorsport since its release and has already made various progression and stability modifications with Update 1.
Update 2 for Forza Motorsport, will include a slew of fixes that affect a range of gameplay elements. Update 2 includes changes for gameplay stability, the Livery Editor, multiplayer elements, automobiles, and more. Stability will remain a work in progress for the developer.
The new Yas Marina track location will also be introduced in Update 2 as well as the commencement of monthly content releases for Forza Motorsport. The upgrade is scheduled to arrive in mid-November 2023.
While Turn 10 Studios continues to improve Forza Motorsport’s gameplay elements and automobiles, players can turn to the Troubleshooting Hub for further information on known difficulties. Many errors and malfunctions have been reported by gamers, and it is likely that some of the difficulties will be rectified with Update 2.

Stability
- Several adjustments have been made to improve overall game stability and reduce crashes across all platforms.
Livery Editor
- Fixed an issue that caused black paint shades to appear gray instead of black.
- Fixed an issue where only the inner barrel of OEM rims could be painted.
- Fixed an issue where players may see and unlock tunes and vinyls shared by other users.
Multiplayer
- Fixes for group matchmaking, party management, and invites and joins throughout multiplayer.
- Fixes to guarantee that custom liveries appear more reliably across many multiplayer game modes.
- Fixes for circumstances where the Intermission/Launch Countdown took significantly longer than expected before the start of multiplayer races.
- Fixes for automated wet tire selection when entering an event, as well as fuel estimation logic.
- Fixes for title stability when restarting from a suspended state on the console.
Gameplay
- Resolved an exploit involving changing car tunes in the middle of a race.
- Replay fixes for situations where replays do not start playing, the vehicles do not move, or they float.
- When opening the main menu, the game would become stuck in the “new content update” cycle. This has now been fixed.
- The issue with a forced camera shift at the start of a race has been resolved.
Cars
- Fixed an issue with the visual upgrade option for the 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS Sport Roll Cage, which removes the car’s roof when viewed in the first person.
Wheels
- The issue that prohibited the Thrustmaster T248 LED panel from displaying race position data has been resolved.
PC
- Fixed a problem that required shaders to be recompiled every time Forza Motorsport was launched on AMD chipsets.
- A specific game crash that happens when headphones are inserted into the front panel has been fixed.
PC gamers who have an AMD 7900 XTX and experience a crash at the end of races should download the most recent AMD graphics driver to repair the issue.
