Streamers and content creators getting into social media wars is nothing new. Recently, two of the most popular streamers, namely Tyler aka “Ninja” and Herschel aka “Dr DisRespect” got into an online spat about multi-streaming.
It started when Dr DisRespect made a controversial and instigating post on X (formerly Twitter). The post seemed to be insulting those streamers who multi-stream on different platforms. Dr DisRespect is known for his usual boisterous actions on stream, as well as social media posts reflecting his on-stream persona.
In a post on X, he appeared to be calling out creators who simulcast on multiple platforms and insinuated that those who multi-stream do it because they are not good enough for one platform. The post read, “If you have to multi-stream, that’s because you’re not good enough for one platform.”

Naturally, the post did not go well with the other streamers who multi-stream, particularly Ninja. He is one of the most popular creators who is known for actively simulcasting on a variety of websites, including Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter.
Ninja takes a dig at Dr DisRespect
It was not hard to guess for the community that the post was a clear dig at the expense of Ninja, given their previous history of conflicts. To elevate things, another streamer SypherPK, who is also known for multi-streaming, tried to initiate banter between Ninja and Dr DisRespect by tagging Ninja.
Ninja was obviously not going to stay mum about Dr DisRespect’s comment and, in return, took a dig by giving a befitting reply to the latter. The Fortnite creator reposted Dr DisRespect’s post and wrote, “Says the guy who can’t stream on the biggest live streaming platform atm” (sic)

Ninja was referring to the Twitch perma-ban imposed on Dr DisRespect. He was mysteriously banned on Twitch some years back and to date, that remains a hot topic of discussion. He is often seen streaming on YouTube and was recently seen expressing his willingness to work on other platforms, such as Elon Musk’s X streaming service.
Ninja, on the other hand, officially called off his Twitch partnership in September last year so that he could stream on other websites such as YouTube and Kick. Additionally, Ninja was very vocal against Twitch’s changed policies, forcing streamers not to simul-cast.
Later at TwitchCon, the Twitch CEO announced a complete reversal in the multi-streaming policy, and Ninja eventually returned to his old platform as a partner. Keeping in mind how he has always advocated multi-streaming in the past, it was obvious that Dr DisRespect’s comments would invite his reaction.
Currently, Tyler is in the process of doing a 24-hour stream to celebrate the return of the OG Fortnite map with Chapter 4, Season 5.
