GTA 6 will be a monumental release if the leaks are anything to go by. CEO of Take-Two Interactive recently spoke about the expectation of an increase in revenue in the fiscal year 2025. When asked about the release date of GTA 6, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, replied,
“We leave the announcement of upcoming titles to our labels, and we have said we have a very robust pipeline of titles and we have a great outlook for fiscal 2025 where we’ve reiterated our belief that we’ll generate about $8 billion in net bookings.”
Previously, leaks suggest the game will feature a realistic AI for police, complete with nuanced movements and tactics. Another leak hinted at a robbery system far more intricate than what we’ve seen in GTA 5. Further potentially involving planning, disguises, and dynamic outcomes.
Rockstar famously introduced a feature where Horse testicles in Red Dead Redemption shrink when entering cold environments. So, it is likely that similar attention to detail will be provided to GTA 6. The game also introduces a dynamic hair growth system, where characters’ hair and beards grow over time. This feature was seen in Witcher 3 and improves the immersiveness of the title.
There are whispers of five new features set to debut in GTA 6, including a Hitman-inspired feature and new water physics. A new leak has surfaced, claiming to show a screenshot of the game’s dynamic weather system.
The new screenshot and its credibility
The leaked screenshot has stirred up the GTA community, as it appears to offer a glimpse into the game’s dynamic weather systems. According to a leak on Reddit, which is now removed by Reddit’s legal team. The screenshot showcases Vice City’s dynamic weather snippets. Further, the leaker has been vague but mentioned that players can expect a “multitude of weather scenarios.”
This aligns with Rockstar’s reputation for creating highly detailed open-world games. And as seen in their previous title, Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the screenshot is more of a proof of concept at this stage, and fans remain cautiously optimistic.
Given that Vice City is a parody of Miami, Florida, it’s unlikely that the game will feature snowstorms or freezing conditions. However, Florida’s coastal areas are known for tropical storms and hurricanes, which could have an impact on the weather and in turn the gameplay.
While the screenshot has generated a lot of attention from the community, it’s essential to approach it with some skepticism. After all, GTA 6 has been one of the most leaked games in recent memory, and not all leaks have proven to be reliable or accurate. The present leaked screenshot has already been removed and is most likely fake. It is also possible that the screenshot is from the already leaked footage during the Rockstar hack.
