SUMMARY
- Let Me Solo Her is a legendary player in the Elden Ring community.
- He has soloed Malenia over 6000 times and has helped numerous players with Malenia's boss fight.
FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is loved by the community for its rich open world, and dark story, as well as for its challenging bosses. However, there was one player who stood out and earned a name for himself by taking in the game’s toughest boss with ease, ‘Let Me Solo Her.’
As Elden Ring’s first DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree approaches, there are several past players who are returning to the game. Meanwhile, the game is also losing one of its legendary players, best known as being one of the few players who could face off against Elden Ring’s toughest boss Malenia.
Let Me Solo Her announces retirement
Let Me Solo Her has spent over 1,200 hours in Elden Rings. Out of which, he has slayed Malenia over 6,000 times. After such a long journey, the iconic player has finally decided to step down and announce his retirement from the game.
In an interview with IGN, he said, “I’ve had my fill of fighting Malenias.” He further added that it was a “great joy” to help so many Tarnished brave one of the game’s toughest fights. Notably, Malenia was one of Elden Ring’s toughest bosses.
After his retirement, players have asked the developers to immortalize the player through a Let Me Solo Her NPC. It could be a silent, brooding summon or a Spirit Ash, the fans wish to see Let Me Solo Her being immortalized and use his talents even if he’s not around to help himself.
Will Let Me Solo Her return?
Although he announced his retirement, Let Me Solo Her says that he may return to help if the game introduces a difficult DLC boss. However, it all depends on how the upcoming DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree goes.
He said, “Everyone knows that FromSoft likes to make the DLC bosses the strongest (for example, Gael). I welcome the challenge and hope newer fans of the genre will also enjoy the difficulty as well. I’m not too sure if I will solo the newest boss yet. I will have to see what the boss will be like.”
FromSoftware last week revealed that the boss fights in the upcoming DLC will be “on equal footing” with Malenia. Thus if Let Me Solo Her sticks to his retirement, players will have to fight the bosses on their own.
Irrespective of whatever happens, Let Me Solo Her’s retirement seems like a fair end for Let Me Solo Her. Apart from his legendary milestone of beating Malenia over 6,000 times, he has also completed a special version of the Elden Ring, wherein, every single enemy was replaced with Malenia.
For his efforts, he even got a drink named after him. There exists a mod that adds him to the game, along with a “special gift” from developer FromSoftware itself.
