During the ongoing Gamescom 2023 video game festival, EA Sports took the opportunity to release a clip from UFC 5 and ignite some spark among the fans before the upcoming full reveal.
The revealed teaser does not disclose a lot of information or details about the upcoming game, however, it does give the fans a glimpse into what the graphics and the overall feel of the game would be like. Similarly, it also gives subtle hints on who could potentially be the cover athlete.
As far as the release date of UFC 5 is concerned, fans may have to wait for a couple of more weeks for the announcement from EA. In addition to this, fans can expect a full reveal of the upcoming game by next month.
Who is the fighter on the cover of UFC 5?
The trailer gives a glimpse of the next MMA fighter who would grace the cover of UFC. One can see a lower-angle shot from the chest up to only the jaw, very cleverly concealing the entire face of the fighter.
However, looking at the physique and other details it is safe to make some assumptions on who it could possibly be. The fighter in the trailer is seen having a tattooed right arm, while his left arm is blank. Additionally, the fighter’s complexion is slightly fair.
Looking at these details and reports, fans suspect that the next fighter on the cover of UFC 5 could possibly be Alexander Volkanovski. There is more than one similarity between the fighter seen in the trailer and the Australian UFC Featherweight champion.

Volkanovski is said to be UFC’s pound-for-pound king. He has had a dominant reign as the UFC featherweight champion for a long period now. His most recent dominance includes defeating Yair Rodríguez to claim the lineal featherweight title at UFC 290.
