It’s been a while since the feud between YouTubers SSSniperwolf aka Alia Shelesh and Jackfilms aka John Patrick Douglass has been going on. But SSSniperwolf took things a step ahead when she showed up outside Jack’s house and filmed it.
While filming for a video, Shelesh realized that she was only a few minutes away from Douglass’ house. She then ran a poll on her Instagram asking fans if she should visit, and the fans voted for “yes.” Following her promise, she showed up outside his door, took a video of her surroundings, and then shared the clip on her Instagram story.
Naturally, Douglass was bummed by her actions and created a YouTube video saying that her behavior was an example of doxxing. He further called on YouTube to ban her. He is heard saying, “SSSniperwolf needs to be deplatformed,” in the video which now has more than three million views.
Shelesh wouldn’t back down and shared a response video on her Instagram stories saying, “This creep has been harassing me for months then plays victim saying I threatened him when I just wanted to talk to him. I have no ill intentions. It’s so sad when people have to constantly create drama to pay their bills.”
Douglass has been continually asking YouTube to take action against the 30-year-old YouTuber. YouTube’s policies prohibit doxxing, however, they have not yet accepted Douglass’ request to ban SSSniperwolf.
YouTube responds to SSSniperwolf’s ban request
The platform did issue a public response on X (formerly Twitter) though. The official TeamYouTube account acknowledged Jack’s wife, Breslin’s, complaint. The platform promised to pass the complaint along to the relevant authorities.
Charlie White, another YouTube creator known as Moist Cr1TiKaL, supported Jack saying, “It violates the Geneva Convention of internet content creators where you never take internet beef into the real world. It’s just going too far with this whole thing.”
would it be too meta to do a reaction video to a reaction video

On one hand, where Jack’s fans and supporters are consistently voicing out SSSniperwolf’s ban, YouTube seems to be in the mood to joke about the situation. The official YouTube X handle posted a tweet that read, “would it be too meta to do a reaction video to a reaction video” referring to Jackfilms‘ video and SSSniperwolf’s expertise in doing reaction videos.
Naturally, YouTube’s joke did not go well with the users demanding the ban. A user named ‘Jacksepticeye’ wrote, “Well now this is just dumb.” Another user ‘Pelo’ wrote, “Would it be too meta if a doxer gets doxed?” There were a host of other users who were seen reminding YouTube of their own policies and accusing the platform of breaking its own rules.
While several users continued the “Ban SSSniperwolf” comments.

It will be interesting to see what YouTube decides on the matter. Whether the platform protects one of its top creators and faces backlash from the community, or it abides by its rules and bans SSSniperwolf.
